Things are improving though. First half last night we could have been 3 up. A bit of luck is all we need. Must admit, under Hughes things were more exciting, but i'd prefer dull football and points over excitement.

I think we need to get behind the team, and Mancini, and make sure we get 4th in the Prem. Whatever team is put out come on city fans show the players that we care - even if they don't. The club need us now, and then lets wait and see what happens in the summer. We are building slowly, Rome wasn't built in a day, and we have come a long way in a short space of time.

Keep the faith!!

Im with you 100%

Lol. Go look at the list. Also, if you want to talk info, i also said during the summer on mancityblues.com about Barry, Eto'o and Tevez. Not that i need to explain myself.

Ricster i've finally worked it out, you are sheikh mansour in disguise. I knew it !!!

Lol. I dont think Mansour has a Scottish accent and he wears a robe, not a kilt ;)

YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL. You know nothing about Mancini and the only opinion you should have is what goes on at a subbutio game. We don't need comments like yours - forum or not

As long as we are on course for a top 4 finish I'm happy.

Why people expected us to win the FA cup without any problems is beyond me.

Stoke are a decent side. We did well, should have been 2-0 up if Bellamy or Ireland had a first touch last night. Ade got sent off, we were over run, we lost. Big fucking deal. Been there. Done that. Arsed. Life goes on.

Of course it would have been nice to win but our goal is top 4 this season and we are on course for that.

Obviously if we don't put 7 past Chelsea then I'll join the 'I miss Les Hughes' club.

You're actions last night weren't just noticed by our own fans but noticed around the world. Congrats for the hand signals and abuse aimed towards Mancini.

Do you think you're actions are going to help?

Let me answer that question. Our owner has put millions into this club and is becoming increasingly impatient by the way some of our fans are reacting. In my words, like spoilt brats. Mansour has no ties to us, he can leave this club at anytime.

Im not going to go into this much more, but believe me you've been warned.

Dont bite the hand that feeds you!

well that didnt seem to bother the hughes outers at the time...so cant see it bothering the other side

There will always be arseholes no matter what we are trying to achieve ( youve only got to look at the scum fans to see that)...But as fans we still have the right to vent our frustration.. It's how we do it that matters.

I wasn't there last night, but to be frank Ricster, I think either you've twisted what you've been told, or the person that told you is spouting poo poo.
£300m into the club, plans for investment into east manchester redevelopment, the chance to make millions, if not billions from this project, and you expect me to believe that Sheik Mansour is gonna walk away from it all because the fans are whinging about the same thing he will also be pissed off about?
Sorry mate, not buying it.

i think all those slagging off roberto should take a chill pill. he need time full stop, sick and tired of saying it

im as upset as anyone about the performances and poor results but to abuse the bloke as already mentioned is absolutely disgusting and should not be tolerated. i hope its a small minority of brainless idiots.

however im sure the sheikh wont make rash decisions based on a few jobless, skanky dick heads.

i think mancini is the one that needs to worry.

Remember Don that you were one of the Hughes outers at the time.
Think we have gone forward since his sacking ?

Gentlemen,ladies.

Let me be the first to admit I have in the past (recently) made disparaging remrks about fellow bluemooners/MH etc.

Today though I've been engaging my brain before posting.

Let's get some perspective:

- we are curretly fifth, GIH away from potential fourth.
- we made the SF of a major cup for first time since 1981.
- fifth round of fa cup.
- we have by some distance the best owners in world sport. Period.
- we (used to???) have the most self effacing fans in uk football.
- we have a team boasting tevez, ade, given, kompany, ndj,Barry, bellers and AJ amongst many others which despite what many of "us" have said recently are looked at with envy by 14/15 of the other teams fans in the prem (it is still "us" isn't it?- sometimes I think all this money has divided us too much and we are defining each other by the term "inner/outer", "rag/wum/'newbie'" etc. )

you know what. We are still city. We've still followed those blue shirted wankers/heroes through decades of false dawns and ruined dreams but these last few
months it's many of us (myself incl. When MH was in charge to my shame) that have thrown our toys out of our pram because we couldn't beat hull/burnley/Stoke etc.

I remember as do most of you being secretly embarrassed that we used to define our seasons worth only on how we did against united. THOSE days were shit. These should be the happiest days of most of our footballinglives.

We are like a bloke that married a model and then complained cos she couldn't cook as well as that munter over the road.

So fucking what if we are having a bad patch? We are city ffs. Life is a fucking bad patch but now at least we have hope if only we can remember to use it.

Stick together blues cos when we are all old piss sodden men we will look back and say "we could have really built a dynasty in the 2010's if we hadn't fucking spent so much time throwing it into our owners faces and feeding the southern/sky4 biased cunting media obsession with seeing city come unstuck. WE ARE SPOILING THIS FOR OURSELVES. Not Mancini. Not Cook. Not marwood. WE ARE.

We need to get a grip. Sharpish.
^^^^^^^^^^^^excellent post there^^^^^^^^

First point we have gone backwards...
Secondly I do not blame Mancini for this. I think that Hughes set up what can only be described as a lukewarm squad.

As for the Sheik pulling out I cannot see him doing this over some fans. Just because some insignificant people are shouting abuse after an awful game. I can see why they were venting at the manager/team I was watching it online and after we let Shawcross score a dreadful (delap standard) goal that given should have been on his line for and then Tunchay get the third, i stopped watching and went round a mates to fume! If I'd been there I'd have been going mental!

How exactly is Shiek Mansour pissed off?

If he reads here and thinks i anything more than a few extreme characters venting about City then he's a bit daft.

If he watched itv.com last night and thought "30 people" expressing thier displeasure at being unable to beat Stoke three games in succession was offensive, then he didnt really research the field he was investing in.

If he's thinking of withdrawing on the basis of the above to then he's a complete numpty and i've no clue how his preshush little self has made so much money in some many business markets.

Perhaps, he should get himself to a game, since he's owned us for two seasons. Perhaps he should come take a look at the banner that permanetly hangs in our ground thanking him personally, paid for by City fans. perhaps he should meet some of us in person before he makes judgements.

If you're reading this Sheik, get back to work! We're all very grateful.
