Didn't work perfectly tonight because of the high amount of kids, but it's a good start and could definitely be top if it was advertised by the club as for singers, and if the stewards didn't try to make us sit.
Don't think many were impressed with my rendition of "standers to the left of me, singers to the right, here I am stuck in the middle with kids" though.
Some good lads at the back of 114 and 115, and thanks to the woman who came up to me at the end of the game and said "I've took my 12 year old step daughter to her first game tonight and she couldn't stop looking at you singing and smiling so thank you". Made my day that :-)
And whoever the little lad I gave my banana to is, look after it mate, it's been with me for years :)
Thank fuck you were there pal, if i'm thinking you were the guy wearing the 3rd kit and on row y-ish behind the bald guy
haha yeah that was me row Y seat 372, where were you?

In 121 it was varied because for once people were standing up, but they were up down, up down, so it was really unstable and irritating tbh. Add to that, the wanker family outdid themselves tonight, laughing when Tevez missed in the 1st half, taking the piss when we were getting angry about the ref, I shouted 'Come on Vieira FFS' once out of pure frustration and the Dad tells me to shut up. The only reason I didnt tell him to fuck off is because my Mum was there. 4 rows up for the bottom in 121, I swear they're rags, they dont know any songs, they glare and shake their heads at people who sing, shout or have an opinion. Add to that, they get excited when we miss. Tony Book got shown on the screen during the game and one of the sons, who must be at least 17/18, said 'whos he?' I rest my case. I seriously hope these bleeders piss off either to the family stand or back to stretford next season so the rest of 121 dont have to feel guilty about getting loud at a FOOTBALL match, Im going back to the south stand.

I was in 115 behind a Korean football team (2 of whom fell asleep!) and hordes of kids - I thought there were quite a few of us who gave it a go but it was the wrong mix - too many young kids and parents mixed together made it hard work.
The club did a great job of getting 43000 in the ground but the efforts on here to get the end standing and singing were clearly not supported by the club or at least the message was not passed to the ticket office if they did.

Back to the North stand for us

The club did as much as it could. Those who know, know. They couldn't have done anymore. Trust me.

I disagree, the club could of really pushed it but they didn't as they didn't want to be seen as failures.

The club could of put those who bought the Dad, Lad and free shirt for £30 elsewhere in the ground, there were 4,000 spaces there tonight.

I'm convinced if the club had pushed it, promoted it on the OS, twitter, facebook even in the MEN and got a real buzz about it then it would of been full of blues who wanted to stand and sing but they didn't want it to happen.

Shame, but well done to those that moved and gave it a go.

I cringed when i saw them doing peace signs at the beginning to try and get on the big screen, and when they started clapping to the tune of every song, even if it was blue moon. Reminds me of a certain set of fans from a certain club.

To call it a big fail is not doing the lads who tried any justice.

First time this has happened, would of been a miracle if it came off, Dont stop trying to promote another one IP.

7/10 for effort ;)

I'll leave it to someone else now to promote and keep going forward with it, IMO it will never happen without co-operation from the club itself. Bluemoon forum just doesn't have enough viewers and pull to make it work properly.

We've done our best though, gave it a go ;-)

I was near the front of 115 and wanted to stand all game but every1 round me say down so I would have felt a bit of a dick stud up on ma own.

Let me state once again. The club could not have done the above. They did as much as they were allowed to do under the circumstances.

What were these circumstances?
