Looking at the remaining 13 fixtures, I can only realistically see us getting about another 17 points. This would have us on 64, which was enough for 4th spot last season.
In recent seasons, we've been able to finish with a string of wins to cement our position.
Can anyone seriously see us putting a run of wins together?

Hart
Sagna, Kompany, Otamendi, Clichy
Sterling, Dinho, Delph, Barker
Kelechi, Kun

Not won back to back in the League in how many games?(17th October) yep we're fucked!

Fourth in the league, and not out of the race.

I'll be buying a Wembley ticket for a final soon, which most supporters of any team would give their right arm for, my payment for the game in the final stages of the Champions League goes out today, and we are still in the FA Cup.

It's a really shit season so far, isn't it?

We beat Spurs on Sunday, Arsenal beat Leicester, and the whole complexion changes.

Stop being so melodramatic.

There is loads of football still to be played, and we are still in the race.

I'd loved to have seen this place 20 years ago. Fuck me, a dose of Prozac would have been sent to every new subscriber.
You don't get it do you

At the moment we seem to be relying on Aguero to keep us in the hunt. But if we can just keep in touch for the next month until a few of the injured players (especially Kompany) are back we could put a run together. With City things can swing from despair to jubilation (and back) fairly quickly. And the other contenders will drop points.

If Aguero and Kompany each play in more than 10 of the remaining fixtures we will win the league.

feck me spurs havent lost away since the opening day at United! let's make it two
please lets not refer to them with that word, especially with a capital 'U'.

there are much more preferable terms:

Red scum bastards
Swamp dwellers
scum fuckers - etc.

I would field

Hart
Zaba, Sagna, Otamendi, Clichy
Fernando
Stirling, Fernandinho, Delph
Kelechi
Aguero

Subs Willie, kolorov, Martin, Yaya, Garcia, Celina, Humphries

Keep it tight and work like hell to match spuds work rate and hope to nick a goal. Consider Yaya in last 20 mins as impact sub.
----------------Hart
Zab--Kompany--Otamendi--Clichy
Fernando-Delph-Fernandinho-Kolarov
---------Aguero--Sterling

And if Kompany is not ready, then Sagna in central defence

Like you I'd bring in Yaya for last 30 mins. When the game gets stretched his accurate passing can control the game.

I think it's very likely Yaya will start. if he does they'll dominate the midfield
