We could have a winger that has the intelligence to hug the touchline and take players down the line and also pick up positions in between the full back and centre back and play in the pockets too.
Him or Kvaratskelia could be perfect for Pep.
What we have currently on the wings is clearly not working and I'm sure Pep can see this.

Really hope so but don't see us spending big on several signings. We seem to sweat every signing right to end of the contract. Hopefully the sad faces leave, Bernado, Laporte, Gundo, Cancelo and we can get on with some replacements.Here's a bold strategy, how about fuck the net spend trophy right out the window
We have to be aware of buying Brighton's better players. They aren't guaranteed to work in our current setup. We can forget Napoli's better player as well with them looking highly likely in winning Serie A this season.Which is why we should buy Mitoma.

The midfield is the biggest problem and it's compounded by the lack of balance in the full back positions currently.
There isn't enough energy or dynamism in the midfield and because of that our forwards get very average service. Grealish, Mahrez, Foden, Alvarez and Haaland would all improve ten fold with midfielders who are play quick, crisp passes into them and are able to commit defenders and run through the lines. When KDB is out of form there isn't one player who does it for us. The midfield is ageing and its having an impact on the rest of the team. Put a creator and a box to box midfielder in the team and everybody else would look alot better than they do now.
It's where most of our budget should be spent in the summer and if spent wisely we'll be absolutely fine.

Sadio Mane was signed by Liverpool from Southampton and he was a great player for them.
I'm not so focused on the club, I'm just focused on the quality of player.
I suppose it would be a gamble considering he has performed well for only half a season in the premier league, but sometimes with players you can just see they have got what it takes.
I might be wrong, but I really like the look of this player. Has all the attributes this side are sorely missing.
