Criminal back ground as usual,ex wife arrested ,mixture of real and fake weapons found in truck
There is a big difference between accidents and health issues and deliberate acts of mass murder.
Yeah couldn't agree more mate, it shouldn't take a terrorist attack to make you realise what your family mean to you.I don't disagree with you, but that's true with or without terrorism.
You're more likely to have a car crash than die at the hands of a terrorist. Certainly more likely to have a heart attack etc.
Time is precious.

Never said there wasn't.
But the appreciating the value of time with loved ones shouldn't be a reaction to terrorism. It should be an appreciation with or without them.
You're more likely to die from other sudden causes than terrorism so appreciating what time we have is more about accepting that than about fear of terrorism.
NoBorn in France wasn't he?
Accidents and health are part of the normal journey of life, we should not make terrorism ( or fear of it) part of the normal journey of life as well.
At the moment we are and it continues . It's almost a monthly event now which we are just accepting as part of life . Oh it's a shame we need to be vigilant etc. We should not have to accept it in the same way as accidents and health.
Then the guy I replied to had a good point. No
Tunisia.
You are of course completely fucking mad.I hate that the Farage cheerleader Marie Le Pen and her psychotic extremist ilk will cash in on yet another human tragedy come the French election. Likewise in Germany and likewise here. Europe is becoming a genuinely dangerous place not only because of the actions of the faith deranged, but because of the gathering strength of these nationalistic zealots. It's less than 100 years since these people came to dominate much of Europe and wreaked havoc and mass murder across our continent and across the world. This is what the Islamo-fascists want as well. Cuntz, the lot of them. I don't know what can be done, though.

There is a road strewn with dead bodies due to religious extremism and you are more concerned about those who oppose it!
So this guy was a drinker, gambler, womanizer, and depressed. This is what radicals do. They prey on the weak.
Er, nooooo. I am concerned about the people who would make it worse. Jesus, I fucking dispair. No wonder Europe's in the shitter. You are of course completely fucking mad.

It won't and that is not what I was saying about Europe being in a dangerous place. What I meant was that there is a drip-drip accumulative impact these incidents are having on the political culture as a whole. Europe is becoming dangerous not because of any one single event but because of the rise of the far right and the "it will never happen here" complacency about that.I disagree that Europe is becoming dangerous though. 100 dead is awful but it's nothing in the grand scheme. I don't want to minimise the atrocity in any way, but at the same time I don't want to make it out to be radical act that will change Europe forever. It won't.
