We can criticize Txiki but think about it,

We have had Mangala, Nasri, Bony and Hart on the market for permanent sales or loans with us subsidizing wages and we have managed to shift them to Valencia, Sevilla, Stoke and Torino. No offence but hardly powerhouses in world football and it doesn't seem that clubs were fighting over them. Where exactly do people here want Txiki to sell them?

Whatever we have got for them is better than them sat in the stands earning millions combined for doing nothing.

I have no doubt that we can sell them next year, hopefully to the clubs they are at to make it easier.

Shows the difference between dealing with other English clubs and those in Europe. Bony probably the worst of the players we have been trying to offload today and it's the only deal which in financial terms is even approaching being acceptable.

What makes you have no doubt that we can sell them next summer if clubs weren't exactly fighting over them this summer? It's obviously possible that their stock will rise at their loan clubs but "no doubt"?

Not so sure I deserved all the personal abuse directed at me for suggesting excatly what has happened in the last 12 hours.

A Jim White wank fest and some gimp stood at the CFA informing us of loans with subsidised wages of senior players.

Exciting players like Zinchenko out on loan and Yaya still here.

I was concerned we'd only get buttons for our surplus, turns out we didn't even get buttons.

Imagine being told back in May that after the transfer window, our 4 fullbacks would still be Kolarov, Zab, Clichy and Sagna. I'd have seriously harmed myself. Crazy really. Hopefully it's a good decision!

You'd have harmed yourself more if you'd have been told that Kolarov was going to be one of the centre backs. :)
