Unite against City?

Re: Unite against city??

What will the owner of the land do with the £1.3million once he has sold his 5,000 plots and the land is CPO'd.

Just read their website - pure comedy script including this classic
What’s the worst that can happen?

1. 1: They win the premiership.
2. 2: If the CPO (Compulsory Purchase Order) goes ahead, it’s possible that you may not receive back your full investment.

They want 5000 suckers to stump up £250 each to buy ''nothing'' and offer nothing back when it goes tits up!
Where do I send my cheque?

Re: Unite against city??

Used to work for the bloke who owned Mantax, if it's the same owner he's an out and out Red.

Its actually laughable as its counter productive.

When a CPO is applied for and those people who maybe own a few square feet of land are asked to explain what they are going to do with their small pockets of land? Their answer will be "nothing", because you can't do something useful with a few square feet.

If the owner keeps his land and says I've got a business then he probably stands less chance of a CPO as his land at least serves a local purpose with employment etc.

The owner of the land probably thinks by getting more people involved, he has a greater chance of keeping his land and can get a minority against selling the land. He is wrong.

All he's doing is turning this into a pathetic United vs City dispute which the people of east Manchester will be thankful for *not*. Unprofessional way to solve a business dispute.

Unite against city??

We should Start our own campaign.

City against MAntax

He would soon sell if the value of his business began to plummet as that would affect the value of the CPo
