United and Liverpool EFL project - proposal rejected

We all know that these 2 want to have it all like the American way of sport(s), no transfer fees just drafts .The Premier League was an eventual back door carve up for the big clubs ,which we eventually became. Surely as this is so obviously so open that everyone can see that it is so wrong in many many many ways that the Scum 1 & 2 know that it will never get passed that they must have a plan A & B to get what they really want.....but just what are those plans A & B ?

I’m more disappointed with them than anybody, but while City are in the discussions, they are not the driving force. This document is draft No 17, with meetings taking place since January, long before lockdown. As I understand it, there was a gathering of the Big Six last Thursday in which the reveal was discussed and five were against the timing, with Chelsea even saying they couldn’t support it in the current form. Only Liverpool were in favour of this early unveiling, and unsurprisingly Parry went with them.

Looks like PB was perhaps right, Liverpool are looking like the arses they are and have been royally screwed.

It's probably the truth - and one reason why this proposal is coming out now - screwing them while they're desperate.

There was a quote from someone in either the govt/PL saying that they didn't think the EFL were taking the negotiations about support seriously. If Parry had this up his sleeve, that's a huge conflict of interest.

I'd be happy if the PL teams voted through the EFL support package and changes to payments, without any of the power grab.
As when the Premier League came in which was his baby and he was connected to Liverpool then

I didn't hear it but the DM reports that Parry was on Talkshite trying to put a positive spin on all this self serving shite and Simon Jordan gave him a right earful. He told him it would be a "deal with the devil" adding that it doesn't stack up and that it was a typical Orwellian mentality with all animals being equal but some more equal than others. "This empowers the big 6 and enables them to steer towards where they're really going which is to have a better relationship with Juventus and Bayern Munich and Barcelona and the European Club Association".

If a bear of such little brain as Jordan is so vehemently (and correctly) against it surely it's going to crash and burn.

If prem clubs so concerned over the welfare of EFL and want to give them 250m as an interest free lone payable as and when, it would only need each club to cough up 12.5m which in todays transfer market will at best just get you one average player. For those worried about FFP make it so it doesn't count against the clubs.

According to Martin Samuel it was Parry and Liverpool's idea to release this to the press at this point. Surely that can't be true? It went initially thought one scoop in the Telegraph and then Parry had to respond. There's better ways of presenting proposals, this would be madness.
I watched his (Parry) interview yesterday morning, he said "it's not how we wanted it to come out", so I don't think that's correct.

Parry spunking his load and going early with what should happen. Didn’t he leak stuff out in regards of our CAS case let’s hope this gets the same outcome.

I listened to it.
As I posted yesterday Jordan schooled Parry, which is a first for Jordan.
Parry also stated that the discussions were between himself and the top two Premier clubs(hic).
He also said City were not in the 6 ever present Premier league clubs, and did so without solicitation.
