United and Liverpool EFL project - proposal rejected

There's a long ball game in play here.

Once you get down to 9 clubs, it's only a matter of time before that can reduce to 8 or 7 with relegations. After that all you need are 4 of the clubs to vote for just them to control the direction ofthe PL and then ManUre, the Dippers, Arse and Spuds will control the PL, we'll be frozen out and the next stage is to remove relegation for the golden 4.

They will also control TV revenues and they will take the vast majority of it. This is a power grab, plain and simple.

Anyone that thinks this is a good idea and is being done for the good of football is living in cloud cuckoo land.
The rules of the Premier League state that away fans get access to 3,000 tickets per game, or 10% of stadium capacity if greater than 30,000 seats.
So why dont Ragchester Yoonitid send City circa 7.500 tickets for a Derby ?

Oh and in November 2016 all, that's ALL Premier league clubs agreed that at least one block of away fans would be seated next to the pitch at every game at the start of the 2017 season. No one seems arsed that Ragchester Yoonitid don't do that so why does anyone think they will abide by this 'minimum 8% for away fans ?

If they refuse to follow rules on such a simple issue wait until they have total power.

Don’t know if already posted, but this from the brilliant Martin Samuel is bang on the fucking money.

Super League probably
Exactly with who would they join?

Or would the six just play each other for evermore.

Unless they could take a decent number of other top level clubs with them. Maybe Burnley and Fulham could be persuaded to go.

Of course there would be no European Competitions for this breakaway.

Best of luck to them. They will not last six months.

Have the club said anything on this yet? I can't believe they would do business with Parry and Henry.

I would think that most clubs haven't seen a final proposal statement, and therefore won't make any comment.

The run-up to the weekend fixtures will be interesting to see what happens in the press conferences.
