United (H) - League Cup SF 2nd Leg Post-Match Thread

Well the stats can't be wrong can they........... does pass accuracy measure whether the pass completed, whether it missed by an inch or missed by a fucking mile?

We were constantly kicking the ball into touch or missing another player by yards last night, we dont normally do that hence why it was the worst I can remember for a long time

Eh! Pass accuracy means the percentage of passes completed so we weren't constantly kicking the ball into touch or missing another player by yards last night.

I agree with many on here that it was a kick in the bollocks..

15 years ago we would be dancing in the streets walking home last night loosing but going to Wembley..

Tactics, fitting players in just to keep them happy & the finishing was woefull

Tolmie is right people are starting to hide when the hard minutes closing down & getting stuck in inc receiving & giving the ball

Sterling has got a real problem why is he trying to do everything alone, 4 months ago he was beating 2 men & creating assists for both club & country but now it's so fucking bad

Not a chance he starts ahead of Mahrez or even Jesus down the left

Leroy now gives Pep a fucking proper headache, both fighting for the shirt we could see both wanting out in July now that would give us ££££

Going.

I would imagine someone maybe quite a few said exactly the same before our recent comical exits. If you say it before you are a moaner if you say it after then it's with hindsight. If he doesn't sort out that defence and pick the team as a whole on form it's coming again.

Pep is a manager that has done very well and we have played some great football and won lots of domestic trophies.

However with the tools at his disposal with Munich and ourselves in Europe he has been pretty crap.

I expect us to win the league cup now. We are at a point where the league and cl are the barometer we are obviously out of one.

A 5 4 knockout by a half decent side in Europe is staring us in the face unless he does something different.

Just an opinion based on what I have seen previous seasons and some of the laughable performances this season.

Matter of opinion but I don't think he's been pretty crap in Europe. His teams should have done a bit better but Bayern were always in the semis and were very unfortunate on at least one occasion not to progress. We've gone out twice on away goals so we've only been properly beaten once.

A lot will depend on who is fit and what form they are in but it will be difficult because we are playing Real Madrid next. However, our best team is capable of giving anyone a game if they play well and avoid stupid mistakes.

Rodri is absolute brilliance. I can’t understand why you can’t see it.

does anybody know what happen to the little kid that ran on the pitch and bravo taking back to the stand ?? nice touch by bravo and i hoped it stopped him and his dad getting kicked out

Nothing to worry about then ;-)

Team selection last night can be criticised because we lost the game 1-0, but whatever it was meant to do we absolutely ripped them apart for 20 minutes, we just didn't score, so it couldn't have been that far out, our problem seems to be that too we run out of steam if we don't score early, and then start flapping if we concede, nobody would live with that first 20 minutes yesterday, but we have to score first. How many times this season have we done that, then conceded from the first goal attempt ?.

I'm unconvinced that 2 RB's and 1 CB was to clever for that game, especially with Bravo behind them (and he didn't do much wrong, in fact he didn't do much all night), even for Pep, but the rest in that first 20 minutes were outstanding, all of them, and it seems to have been forgotten by the majority.
