United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Pep doesn't know how to improve things at the moment. He's probably never had a run of one win in eleven games during his entire career and he may also have lost the dressing room.
But changing manager will not get Walker's pace back, it won't get Rodri's fitness back, it won't stop Stones being injured every five minutes, it won't stop Savinho, Doku, Nunes (and possibly Grealish) being significantly worse than Sterling, Sane and even Gabriel Jesus, and it won't suddenly give Rico Lewis muscles like Arnie and conjure up a left-back out of thin air.
The only thing a new manager might bring is more chances being created for Haaland, but if it was that easy I'm sure Pep might spot it for himself.

Too passive
No press
No leadership
Not a pair of bollocks between 'em.

Our season summed up in 1 minute of football.

45 +3

We're WINNING a home derby 1-0
We're penalised in their half

Onana shapes to take the free kick, flapping his arms out to get everyone forward. Our defence is set, usual high line, Dias manically trying to get everyone on point, everyone in the ground know what's coming, it's seconds before half time. He launches it. Everyone one of our players can see the flight of the ball, where it's heading and what needs to be done. Easy to defend, get to half time. We go again. Come on...

Ermm..

Fucking 5ft nothing ratface wins the header, just outside our box, with not a single City player withing 5 fucking yards of him.

Pep wants his WARRIORS eh....so, man the fuck up and play for him then.
Warriors to worriers in the blink of an eye.

Up the fucking Bl.....nah...fuck that.
We actually followed that with a corner to us that De Bruyne for god knows what reason hit low to Foden on the edge of the box who promptly lost it. Luckily the ref blew up but it was a stupid decision. We are making them all the time now.

Today City should be 11 points in front of the rags, with them on the fringe of a relegation scrap, and we all know what that is like, getting mired in that!

We should also have gained 2pts on both the dips and arse putting some pressure on them and giving us an outside chance in the title race.

These are the main disappointments for me after the ridiculous comedy of errors which cost us the match.

Finally, St. Beneathus day will be delayed, IF indeed it happens....

We haven't come anywhere near the fluidity or style of football we played when the maestro was here. That is the context in which we haven't replaced him.
ok. I'd disagree, but that's football, all about opinions. Off to the Walker thread now....
