Too passive
No press
No leadership
Not a pair of bollocks between 'em.

Our season summed up in 1 minute of football.

45 +3

We're WINNING a home derby 1-0
We're penalised in their half

Onana shapes to take the free kick, flapping his arms out to get everyone forward. Our defence is set, usual high line, Dias manically trying to get everyone on point, everyone in the ground know what's coming, it's seconds before half time. He launches it. Everyone one of our players can see the flight of the ball, where it's heading and what needs to be done. Easy to defend, get to half time. We go again. Come on...

Ermm..

Fucking 5ft nothing ratface wins the header, just outside our box, with not a single City player withing 5 fucking yards of him.

Pep wants his WARRIORS eh....so, man the fuck up and play for him then.
Warriors to worriers in the blink of an eye.

Up the fucking Bl.....nah...fuck that.

Examples like this are available in pretty much every game in this run. De Bruyne gave Wood a nice assist against Forest that should have made it 1-1 and we'd have probably lost. Bernardo giving the ball away against Palace before we decided not to defend the corner. Doku running into Danilo before we decide to run back aimlessly and give them all the time in the world to pick their moment to score.

We score from a De Bruyne cross and with the final play of the first half decide not to just swing one into the box yesterday and instead do something silly. There was another moment in the second half where Walker was taking an age to decide where to pass the ball from the free kick before Bernardo scurried over, quickly fired a poor pass towards Haaland who lost the ball and before we knew it the rags were at our goal and luckily (at the time) we got away with it. The decision making is fucking awful, the panic defending remains and Pep still hasn't sorted it.

We continue to defend in a mad scramble running back but not picking players up. It was piss easy for the rags yesterday and they were fucking shite. They should have battered us. Villa will take us to the cleaners even in their form if we play the same way. All you have to do is pass and move and we can't cope. We run back and defend the inside of the box, leaving space and opposition players free. We then react and guess what - more space appears. It's like watching kids. I don't know what Pep can do. He should get the first team to play 11 v 11 against our academy all week and see how they get on. Blow the whistle anytime any one of them is in the wrong position. Go back to basics and act like you've never worked with them before, because it doesn't appear like they remember anything you've taught them.

Morning all.
Wanted to sleep on yesterday before posting.
Firstly. Let's not dress it up. It was a shit game involving 2 very poor teams. We were in control until the 86th minute until we decided to yet again gift the opposition the equaliser.
Nunes never will be nor ever has been a city player. No one will ever convince me otherwise. That back pass was unforgivable and then to just clatter Diallo to give the penalty away was simply pathetic. He got back. Stand him up. Wait for others to try to get back but no he made another rash decision to dive in. Awful awful. He should have just put the ball into row Z and we reset...
The winner. Ederson totally at fault. The split second he stopped always gave Diallo the advantage. Ortega needs to be our number 1 moving forward. Ederson way to complacent now, and that breeds a lack of confidence in the defence. Gvardiol I thought he could have booted it off the line rather than try a flick but he played well along with Dias were the only 2 to come out with any credit.
Now a draw for me would have been acceptable with our play at the moment but no we GAVE the points to the rags.
Moving on. Let me address the elephant in the room.A certain Erling Haaland. Piss poor. No effort. Body language all wrong and this may sound a little off hilter but If we could get over 100 mill for him I would cash in. He does not work hard enough for me. Look at Isak at Newcastle. Works his bollocks off. I know many will disagree but thats my view. Even go back to a false 9.
Bernardo, Walker, KDB, Ederson, all have stayed a season to many for me. Bringing Gundogan back hasn't worked.
Savio Doku are young and I will reserve judgement. Nunes simply not at the levels required.
Grealish. Should be playing in the 10 role.
Squad neglected as it has been has certainly hurt us. That lands on Txiki I am afraid.
Pep has indefinite credit in the bank for me and anyone who doubts him need to seriously stop.
One word of advice. Don't read or listen to the media. They are loving it. Let them. It wont last forever. Target FA cup. Top 4, knockout c league.

See you at Villa,Everton and Leicester
Pretty much word for word how I feel right now excellent post mate.
I’ve taken a bit of stick with the haaland subject but like I’ve said previously we cannot carry a player like haaland when we are in this form it’s basically playing with ten men every game now.
It’s not popular and maybe pep’s afraid to drop him or rest him but needs must
We need 10 ball players not one that gets schooled by fucking slabby maguire ffs.
And watching our captain faking injury?
Huge 2/3 year rebuild needed
Thanks for the memories gundo kdb walker
Bernie Ederson and maybe a few others.
pep has to find a way to stop the rot by any means necessary including this suicidal high line with players who are fucked by half time.
Charges? Who knows what’s going on.
What we do know is prior to this game we were only 3 points worse off from this time last season hard to believe I know.
Pep should at least start looking at the young ones in the bench as we need players who can last 90 mins it can’t be any worse than this can it?

Difficult to argue with anything that was said in the OP, or your response.
We're not playing to Haalands strengths, not his fault, and if we're not he tends to be a passenger. Can't argue with his strike rate, but even that's taken a hit recently. I'd take him out rather than sell, and work on the training ground on getting back to providing the service he needs. Won't happen mind.
Pep is a great manager - but he has one hell of a job on currently and isn't doing anyone favours by sticking to something that isn't working.
Just for a few games try sitting deeper and see if teams try to open up against us - will it be pretty, no, but needs must while we get confidence back.
CTID - onwards Blue boys

My first Derby memory was the 5-1 in 1989 (my first game was September 88), since then I reckon yesterday was at least the 7th last minute/injury time winner they've scored against

Keane 1993 Maine Road
Owen 2009 OT
Rooney 2010 OT (League Cup Semi)
Scholes 2010 Etihad
Nani 2011 Wembley (Charity Shield)
Van Persie 2012 Etihad
Amad 2024 Etihad

I realise that is spread over a long period of time and according to Stat City (great work on that site) yesterday was the 74th game in that time but in all that time, I don't recall us ever scoring a last minute winner against them which really bugs me. Obviously its much better to steam roll them 3 or 4 - 0 and have the game put to bed which we've done many times but I think the euphoria of nicking one last minute to beat them is one of things left on the bucket list of watching City

Closest we've come was a ruled out Jesus winner for offside in April 2017 in a 0-0 draw at our place from memory...one day hopefully!
