United (H) Post Match Thread

Yes, I’m sure Pep can learn a thing or two from you.
It's not an issue of questioning Pep's ability, vision or the fact that he's the best manager in the world.
He's human and makes mistakes.
I'm not a doctor and have had no medical training other than a first aid course but if I'd had the chance, I'd have told Harold Shipman that some of the things he's doing are wrong.

Sometimes the decisions you make in football come off and sometimes they don’t. He deserves the benefit of the doubt for picking that team for whatever reasons he did.

You can’t legislate for a freak penalty in the first minute.

I wouldn't say it was freaky. I'd say it was clumsy and naive. I understand why he did it and it shows commitment but I hope he learns from it.( If he stays that is and isn't part of a part exchange for haaland)

I think that penalty really screwed us and the entire plan went out of the window, United just had to wait and with plenty of space for counters, that's all. Could've we had done better? Sure we could've. Foden and Bernie should've been in the team but it is easy to say that right now. If they didn't get that penalty in the first minute I believe the story would've been completely different

We are just interpreting the same incident slightly differently. To me It was a chain of events and ricochets which culminated in their player stepping right and tangling his legs in Jesus’s. I bet Jesus has never done it before and possibly never will again. I’ve seen Fernandinho do similar a number of times. It was one of those “shit happens” moments which happen a number of times per season.

The bigger point for me is that was just one of those days and not worth pointing fingers of blame. Everything went wrong and nothing went right. We are fine and we will finish this season with glory.

Absolute toilet that is I’m afraid. You’ve been listening to the know-nowt pundits. Both their goals were flukes and everything that could go wrong did do for us.
He was probably only using his own eyes. Although it's possible to construct an argument that it was a game we could have won, more realistically it was one we should have lost and did. Put it down to experience and move on gracefully your only as good as the result of your next match.
