United (N) | FA Cup Final | Post-Match Thread

Loving how United are thrilled not to have got battered. They don't mind losing to us anymore as long as we don't humiliate them. That's how big the gap is.
An attitude that runs through the whole club now. Manager and players fully accepting of the fact we are better in interviews afterwards. Whilst that might be totally obvious to us and the rest of the world too, it must kill Ferguson to listen to them talk like that. Not in my lifetime. Prick

Just watching ITV post match stuff, saw Beeb’s last night. Also listened to some radio on way home from game. Lots of comments about City not at their best but still the best team on the day, which is true. However, when you look at the circumstances, it was another immense performance. The pressure on the team in this game was huge: favourites playing neighbours in a final and also needing to win to keep certain dreams alive. Then the Rags get a gift penalty after VAR screwed us at the Swamp, that requires some stones to control a game like they did.

Its interesting that, even at our lowest points we never conceded anything to those twats. We got more results against them than we realistically should have done during their peak period.

Liverpool and The Rags, 2 cheeks of one arse...
