United Post Match Thread

Exactly but will they swallow their pride and get rid, I very much doubt it. I wonder what Khaldoon and the boss is thinking, surely they can't be happy.

They probably thought it couldn't get any worse a few months ago and at worst we will make top 4 as we had a decent cushion. They have spectacularly misjudged the situation we were in and it's now too late to make the call.

And you can add a few more as well.

Such as the number of times we have failed to score in one season

Failed to win back to back league
games since October

Most home defeats since the takeover

Amount of goals conceded at this stage of the season

It's beyond my comprehension. He should no longer be the manager of Manchester city. Trophy or not

I can't believe that what look like shrewd businessmen are allowing this to happen. We are sleepwalking into a nightmare scenario.

2 decisions summed the man up today, his picking of MDM and putting Bony on as his last throw of the dice instead of Kelechi,a manager stands or falls by those type of decisions.

Fully agree mate.

it was a pen all day long mate. the only reason it wasnt was because the boy stayed on his feet.

It's contact. Contact doesn't make it a pen. The cheatin' cnut goes down well after the contact. Demichelis was quite right to question the integrity of the 'drop' to the floor. Look at it from the camera from the North Stand. He's on his feet until he's past and then goes down. They have dozens of pens like that, particularly from Old Mother Riley but they are never pens, not like the Aguero, Navas and Sterling ones! Plain cheating.

only if we accelerate our spending in transfer market like we did 2008-2011 to rebuild the team, but that is rather difficult with FFP still existing...

it can't be the answer to just spend our way out of trouble every time. we need to invest smartly and start bringing through youth

That was the worst Utd team I have seen, and we couldn't beat them

Was on the way back on the train and loads of blues were saying the team couldn't be bothered and had given up playing for Pellegrini, but I saw plenty of effort in that 2nd half. We gave everything.

Utd got a bit lucky as they offered very little going forward but we are dying as a creative force

We need to stop playing Toure, and go 442. Our biggest asset is Aguero and he spent most of the game coming deep or going wide to get the ball. He needs support. Also missed Kolarov. Going forward he has a great left foot and so many times today our attacks broke down because we had no width on the left.

KDB and Nasri are our last chance of saving the league season. We've had some bad luck with injuries but Pellegrini is inept

It was the battle of the two most under-performing managers in the premier league and our guy lost. Not a fucking chance we will get top four, he's turned us into a midtable team and I reckon that's where we will finish.

Would have been ideal to have MP see out the season, and then make the change.

But I've joined the MP out, he just doesn't deserve to stay in the job.

So what happened after the game?
Heard something as I left the ground and they said something happened on the radio.
Own up! Who twated Pellegrini?

I'd agree with that. Normally after a bad result I'd slag the players, but think they did alright today.

Just seen the 'tackle' on TV - blatant dive. He rides the contact and then decides as per Carrington training that if you feel a breath of air inside the penalty area it's mandatory for Rags to go down. He didn't go down on the contact, he went down a pace and a half later. The young lad has incorporated the usual Rag cheating a la Ash the Crash into his game already!
Behave! Even with my blue blinkers on, it's a stonewall penalty.

The only thing that Demichellis should be doing is looking in the mirror and asking himself if he really wants to keep embarrassing himself in front of 50,000 people every time he plays.
