Boring post from the BBC

Manchester United has frozen season ticket prices for 2014/2015.

The club's current season-ticket holders can now renew online for next season. For a full adult ticket, prices range from £532 to £950.

The club recently dropped out of the top three in the Deloitte football rich list for the first time.

Despite generating a 7% increase in revenue last year, to 423.8m euros (£363m), Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich all made more.

Dan Jones, a partner in Deloitte's sports business group, said: "Match-day revenues - of which season ticket sales are the biggest component - have actually been pretty flat across the Premier League.

"For the 2008-09 season, they were £573m and for 2013-14, it's estimated at £580m.

"In real terms that's a fall. The rapid growth in revenues for the clubs have come from broadcast rights and commercial deals."

lol

Fookin ell, didn't watch any of the match. They should have scored at least 10 from all of those crosses, but no fucker can be arsed. Too busy trying not to get injured for the world cup. Evra doesn't even look up to see if there's anyone in the box. Ashley Young is so shit, it actually amazes me that he gets picked every week. #SOD

You bastard. I'm going to be up all night watching that now!

It's hardly War And Peace. :)
Its kind of hypnotic though, great that Phil Jones is laughing so much :)

My personal favourite was the boy wonder smashing it out for a throw-in on 73 mins (2:34 in this video). The commentators I had didn't even comment on it, but they did call another one of his crosses that went nowhere near a teammate 'brilliant'.

The problems we had with reports of training ground bust-ups, etc, when Mancini was manager pale into insignificance to what's been going on over there this season. Here's a nice recap from a poster on Red Café:

But yeah....This is like an episode of that show Dream Team.

Just so we are clear here, without taking into account our awful style of play and form this year, we've had:

-Ed's transfer trips
-The Rooney crap
-Missing out on target after target in the summer
-Paying more money for Fellaini for no apparent reason
-Zaha and Lauren Moyes rumours, which Zaha addressed twice on bloody Twitter
-Moyes' comments to the media about "things will only get worse" after the City game
-Moyes' comments saying he needs "5 or 6 world class players" to win trophies here
-Smalling having house parties and dressing like a suicide bomber while drunk
-Welbeck and Cleverley getting caught out, going on a night out with some tv star in Newcastle
-Rio having a go at Moyes' tactics
-RVP telling the media Moyes was shocked by the players not celebrating winning the Community Shield
-Anderson saying players want to leave but then denying he said anything
-Rio acting the arse on Twitter
-Fletcher saying there have been arguments behind closed doors
-Moyes saying the players are mentally soft
-Hernandez acting the tool on Instagram and getting his international manager to have a dig at Moyes
-Zaha having a go at Moyes on Instagram
-Rio been ditched from the "team bonding" trip

Something explosive is going to happen next and lift the lid on everything

If only half of that is true, fucking brilliant :)

Someone put it on Facebook. It's obviously not from United themselves, but it could well be from the clowns in charge of this experiment (Pete Boyle and his cronies).

And yet it isn't reported in the press as united having a dressing room "full of egos". It's not that the press don't report bad stuff about united, of course they do, but the underlying narrative is a million miles away from the disgraceful way in which our club has consistently been talked of since 2008.

Calm down pal.

We have totally passed the 'comedy club' tag over to Trafford. My head is hurting with too many jokes.

Haha! Fair comment.

In terms of passing the comedy club baton onto united, I agree, but only in part, as we didn't hand it over to them directly. Liverpool were custodians for a while, from 2010 to 2013 I would say, ably assisted by Daglish and Suarez it has to be said, but it is entirely right to say it's found it's rightful home now - and long may it continue.

I was thinking exactly the same mate.

Even some of their own fans have stopped burying their heads in the sand and realised just how badly their club has handled the managerial changeover and all the issues that has created, yet a large proportion of the press is still trying to put a positive spin on events.
