Regarding the current crop of players or as they are still known Champions, the squad is as good as any in the Prem inc City, first eleven no,squad yes.
It's obvious the change of management hasn't gone down well with the experience players ,and it's looks like most of them will be off ski sooner than expected , but I,m sure they will purchase suitable replacements ,they have done in the past,so I can't see why that should change.
Let me tell you about this squad that is as good as any in the PL. Around Christmas time I was talking to a journalist who covers the Manchester clubs for one of the big papers. I've known this guy for some time and our families go back even further. Him (and some other journalists) had been briefed by club insiders about Moyes' plans for the squad. Of that established squad, there were 6 names considered not good enough.

Obviously Anderson was one, along with Valencia, Young & Nani. At the back Smalling and Jones were considered too limited and hadn't developed sufficiently. Moyes and Ferdinand don't speak after Rio lost his rag with Moyes, who told him he should aspire to be Phil Jagielka. Camelgob reeled off what he'd won and said to Moyes "Now - what the fuck have you & Phil Jagielka won?" In addition, Cleverley has been given another season to prove himself or he's out the door as well.

Of the new players Zaha simply didn't train well enough so they fucked him off and then there's Fellaini. When they train, they have two 'keep ball' circles with the technically better players in one and the others in the second. Fellaini apparently can't even reach the standard of the latter circle he is so poor technically. And that's what they paid £27.5m for (which is more than we paid for Silva, Nasri or Yaya). Evra would like to stay but there's no word one way or the other from the club.

So this squad now seems to consist of Rafael, Evans, Buttner, possibly Evra, Varela (who hasn't played), Carrick, Fletcher, Fellaini, Cleverley (who's on a last chance), Kagawa, Mata, Rooney, Januzaj, Welbeck, Hernadez and RVP.

And of those, Kagawa, Hernandez and van Persie are very unhappy, particularly the latter. That's your squad of "champions".

That will be in Thursday's Guardian. :-)
It's already been in the papers in some form or another, with stories about a mass clear out and most of those names having been mentioned.

Serious question to all.

They dont get top 4. What does Shrek do???

Will the Kings road be calling??
He's probably assured them he will stay if they sign quality in the summer, regardless of their position in the league come the end of the season. Thing is though, as was explained to our red friend above, who the fuck are they going to attract if they fail to make CL? I would say nobody of any worth. If Rooney goes, I would say it would be next January if summer is a total disaster for them.

That's the thing. They don't get top 4 and the targets they want simply will not come(even though they normally play for nothing and the history of the club:-)
Also you are asking players to forsake the CL for a season which could potentially be 2 seasons with the strength of the current top 4/5.
I can see him fucking off to Chelsea in all honesty.
Rags at work were saying they will go all out for Klopp as Moyes will be sacked. Fuck that

Short memories and that we attracted plenty of quality without champions league football we just had to rape the shit out of the wages
Yes but as was said the other day, when one came, (Yaya), others followed. They don't have anyone of any quality there for anyone to follow into the club, and with at least 3 better options to pick from, (us, Chelsea and Arsenal), that's some wage they would have to fork out to get them in. Add to that a club with, dare I say it, 'istree, who players would choose over United - they won't be attracting anyone of any note in, in the summer, high wages or not. All that is without more rats leaving the ship. If RVP goes and start moaning about things under Moyes, that's just something else to put potential signings off.

Stretford Ender reminds me so much of one of my rag mates who just says outlandish stuff that even he doesn't believe in an attempt to get the City lads to bite. "Every player wants to play for United" / "Johnny Evans would walk into your team" / "We've got the best squad in the league" are all straight out of his WUM textbook, so please don't take him too seriously.

Yeah I saw Cook had said that apart from the fact no one really rated Yaya that highly until after his first season with us and surely Silva had already agreed to join at that point, we also had Tevez and Wayne fucking Bridge (joke)
Even without CL football while it will be a bit more difficult it wont be that much harder unless players leaving start blowing off steam but they are usually given loyalty bonuses to keep there gobs shut

It's impossible to come back with any kind of reply to that, imthefuckpossible.

The fuck.
None the less the same squad are current champions, only Anderson has left as yet. Most of them would get into City's squad, some of them in the City's first eleven ARGUABLY depending ,RVP ,Rooney,Evans ,Jones,Nani ( on form) De Gea,Kagawa,Fellani,Mata ,Evra even Smalling Welbeck and Carrick.

Now I agree City and Chelsea have a far better first eleven ATM ,but any of the above wouldn't make City a worse side if one or two of three of them were included.I,m not saying they are better.City have several players in the squad who wouldn't improve Utd.
Utd have a better squad than all other sides in the league apart from maybe CIty ,who I think are comparable.
You have to have a bloody good side squad to win the prem ,not necessarily the best first eleven.

Surely a blue, a rag wouldn't have the sense of humour to do this (not exactly hilarious admittedly)

Or a manager of a title rival not making the most of what he has. Either way, you've suggested Fellaini would get into our team, and that alone is a load of ferret spunk.

If you're on the WUM, then fair enough.

If however you're being serious then please seek medical attention. Immediately. and I'm not joking around with you. Go. Now!

Just listening to Hawksbee and Jacobs. Feature coming up about how the Glazers have spent more on managing the debt than they have on rebuilding the squad!

When was Nani last on form? I'd say 3 years ago now.

can't see much of a difference ?
First of all I wouldn't replace Hart with that skinny little ****.
Second, i'm better than Evans and i'm shit at football with no cartilage in my left knee.
You are on the fucking moon if you would put Carrick ahead of Fernandinho.
Negredo is making just as much of an impact for us this season as the rapist did for you last season, so you can fuck him off too.

For goodness sake ,you have completely missed the point,I,m not suggesting City break the transfer record to get those I ve named ,I AM NOT SAYING THEY ARE BETTER CITY CURRENT PLAYERS ,!!

But if Hart was injured DDG wouldn't make City a worse side ,Evans is as good ( or as average) as Lescott,Demcahllis ,Nastasic he wouldn't make that much difference, aka Carrick with Fernadiniho,Rooney,Mata or RVP,up front wouldn't make City a worse side, plus as one off changes the others.

I AM NOT SAYING UTD ARE BETTER THAN CITY !

I agree with Nani ,the lad is a world class player on his day ,but those days are very few and far between ,if DM can get his finger out he would be like a new signing.
