It's great money, but I thought that was the one thing Chelsea had? And would you say they need the money to finance an overhaul of their squad? They only need one or two goalscorers

FFP is coming. The time of spending without consequences is over.

I hate the idea of us selling Mata to United, but he can't adapt to Jose's system and is wasted on the bench. And 40m is a nice sum which could be used to strengthen areas where we genuinely lack quality and depth.

Sorry but you´ve sucked the cock of the devil

This is the only chance the scum had to give their top 4 chances a huge boost - had you waited till the summer it would have had more long term implications for the rags re their capacity to sign players who wanted CL football. You are their white knight and have probably saved their arses for Maureens short term gain. One can only hope we smash your back doors in a week Monday and do the same at the swamp to that shower and a nice little injury to Mata after the window closes
Nothing personal mate but Mata? Your best player? TO THEM? FFS!!!!
Chelsea's medium and long term strategic planning since Abramovich bought the club has been appalling. It's why they've only won one title in seven, in spite of insane amounts of money being spent..

well spending every year in transition as the last manager didn't manage to win the quadruple and r.a picking a new manager with an entirely different tactical plan wouldn't help any team, helps us though so long may it continue, we'll pull away from them if it keeps up.

Mark Ogden's headline in the Telegraph: "David Moyes in danger of becoming Manchester United's Graham Taylor" followed by the sub heading "David Moyes' body language is reminiscent of Graham Taylor when he was England manager."

Mata would be a great signing for anyone team. He will improve United immensely.

They need to sign about five more players of that level though.

Let´s fookin hope Mata doesn´t become their Coontona

Last 4 transfer windows (since we won title) United net spend 140 m. City net spend 112m.

Even before Mata Transfer there was little in it and they have also put Rooney and VP on highest wages in premiership.

We should be ramming these sort of figures down their throats. Trying to buy 4th place indeed.
