Having now read somewhere in the region of one million and one comments about the rag shitty scum c**ts from Stretford, please may I take this opportunity to refer all blues back to the visionary comments of our great friend and fellow blue, Walter:

“Where do you go from here? Where do you go from here?”

In years to come when people look back on the greatest speeches of our generation... Churchill, Mandela and Luther King, I hope that people take a moment to remember Walter and possibly, in the eyes of all blues, one of the greatest speeches of all time.

Where do you go from here? Where do you go from here?”

I am not ashamed to admit that every time I think of Walter’s words it brings shivers down my spine. What a visionary. What true words spoken in a moment of sheer emotion and celebration.

For all those glory hunting, bandwagon blues who may be reading this, I implore you to take a moment to research Walter... and Helen Turner...and Lunch box Pete...and Mickey Francis...and Tits Our Jackie and the thousands of other life-long blues who have helped to make this club what it is today.

I remember in the late 80’s, shitefaced and totally c**t in a boozer in Plymouth (Plymouth vs City), having not missed a single game for 3 years, declaring to anyone who would care to listen that I had to be amongst the top 100 blues in the world, How naive and stupid I must have sounded. There are at least a thousand, two thousand, three thousand blues who could justifiably laugh in my face and despite being a season ticket holder for over 30 years now, I wasn’t at York on that fateful day, i wasn’t on that boat to the Faroe Islands and no I didn’t see Colin Bell in a Bury Shirt at Maine Road.

I have given my entire life to this great club of ours and yet after 48 years of loving this club with every piece of my heart and every inch of my sole, i remain a million miles away from being the City supporter that i aspire to be.

I’m now clearly rambling and have forgotten the point of my post and so I will end by saying that my love for City knows no bounds and consumes every second of my waking life and my hatred for u****d is equally fierce .

And in case anyone needs reminding...

“Where do you go from here? Where do you go from here?

Thank you Walter.

Just logged on here to catch a few negative spin stories on ManYoo and saw this. Cheers Blue it was a great day and to be sat opposite the rag who was a destroyed man by the end was a match made in heaven. The guy could hardly speak after the final whistle and I've never seen or heard from him since ha ha!! Thanks for the kind words (don't know what to say really)

I've started to record a fan cam thing for BlueMoonRisingTV if you want to see more check out the video below. It's not as full on as the 1-6 because City haven't just scored but a few thoughts. Anyhow waffling now.. Thanks again blues

Walter
