And still you people fail to come up with an explanation as to why Louis Van's head is (and hear me clearly as to this) literally square shaped. It is not right and I need to know its meaning.

Mickael Silvestre attacks City:

Silvestre said: “They just buy trophies. United are all about growing players.

“City buy multiple stars and shut the door to the youth system.

“United have more courage. They are a club with a family spirit.

“Those who come through the ranks absorb the mentality, the history of the club so they show the heritage in their performances.”

United and City will compete in the International Champions Cup in the United States over the next two weeks.

The club is growing in popularity across the globe, but Silvestre thinks they are still some way behind United.

The former defender believes football fans across the globe have been put off supporting City because of their hefty spending.

“The way they do their business, it doesn't get people to support them,” he claimed.

“They might win trophies here and there but they won't gain support. I have been travelling a lot for United in the last six months.

“I have been to Asia, and the support there is unbelievable and honestly City is nowhere near that.”

It absolutely staggers me how they can delude themselves like this.

^ Not far off £60m of new signings right there.

United are by the very definition trying to buy trophies right now.

Finish 7th. Solution? Promote academy... no wait, spend an absolute bomb on new players.

Yet their brainwashed legion, including former bit part players, continue to spew the same old cliches knowing full well how false they are. No wonder so many people despise that horrible club.

Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

Poor deluded rag.

Most funny thing they seriously believe these things and some of their fans too...

If City win thats success bought with money...
When City dont win then "money cant buy success".
:DD

Would love them spend at least 100m this summer and finish 5th but unfortunately van Gaal will probably bring them back to top4.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I won't comment upon that.

What is indisputable, however, is that our players, former or current, never talk about united in such pejorative terms, or anything even approaching it.

They are completely graceless, obsessed and lacking any sense of self-awareness.
