I don't care how many of these players they are linked with, crucially no mention of any centre backs. If they don't sort that area out, then they will find themselves in the same position they was last year.
 
"Hey boss you know the team that's no longer in the Champions league and Nike were paying £23.5m a year to? Well great news - I've just signed them up for £75M a year after Nike dumped them!!

I think these figures are dependent on a number of things that probably won't come to fruition. A best case scenario figure to impress the stock markets and gullible fans.

Even Soriano said in his video recently the big thing is not the local market, how many shirts you sell in Manchester but if there is a kid in Singapore or China or Japan whose kit will be bought. Its global market and the local market for City is very small we have a huge rival in the City itself not mentioning many other clubs in the country.

Dont know how many shirt are being sold by United but would bet money on it than majority of these shirts are being sold in Asia.

Long years of domination of English football helped United to build this brand and their financial people knew what they were doing.

Also CL is very important in my opinion despite Ferguson only won two CL's in 20-25 years thats still the same that Chelsea, Pool, Arsenal or now City won together. Number of CL finals probably the same in this comparison.

We really need some great CL runs and a CL trophy would be the best of course.

Brand, brand, brand. Thats the way we are going, thats the way our owners wants us to go like it or not. thats the only way to be a rich top club. Especially after FFP introduced what says you can spend a lot as long as you have the incomes. So raise as much incomes as you can. Who has the most incomes? The best brands...
 
I wonder if we'd finished seventh and announced this what that fucking **** platini would have said.
Is there ant way we can renegotiate our deal..12 mill a year is a fucking joke.
This deal surely makes up any lost revenues from no european football ??
I really hate these cunts so much...just hope the glaziers rape them of further cash..
 
Btw Mirror did a comparison:

United 75m/year Adidas (comes in next season)
Arsenal 30m/year Puma (comes in this season 14-15, but report say its little bit over than 30m)
Chelsea 30m/year Adidas (since last summer)
Pool 25m/year Warrior (since 2012 summer)
City 12m/year (since 2012 summer)
Tottenham 10m/year Under Armour and everton6 m/year Umbro.

What I wonder is why did we sign u for 6 years with Nike in 2012 with a deal like this when we surely known its maybe an upgrade on previous umbro deal but nowhere near what rivals are getting. Especially as they were renewing or getting new (better) deals around 2012-2013-2014 as it happened.

Question is can we go to Nike and say we want it renegotiate it or would they say well it runs until 2018 and they are more than happy they only pay us 12m until that. (Well in place of Nike I would be happy with that deal too, as only English top club for a very good/small amount from their point of view.)
(But even if we could get it from Nike dont think they would offer us anything more than the double of current 12m deal. Thats still 50m lower than United's. )
