Some rags I know are looking at yesterday's result as a moral victory, to be fair I had to agree when they were saying they are much improved on last year, in fact I told them that if they continue the way they are and strengthen the defence in January then I see no reason they cant get Europa football next year.

Serious question. Can anybody name the injured players that the Rags say they have ? Turtle head keep telling the press there are 7 (before Sunday) and everybody believes him. he even said it after the match yesterday.

I have just had a Rag on the phone who actually thought they should have got a draw yesterday. He did accept that there were three stone wall penalties but aside from that they deserved a draw, he then quoted 'all our injuries, 7 players out' so when I asked him to name them... he couldn't.

I know Herrera is out broken rib but who else ? Why don't journos front him up ?

In some ways I'm glad it turned out like it did yesterday. The deluded millions still think they've turned the corner whereas if they'd gone down to 9 men and lost 4 or 5-0 as they should have, they'd be desolate and recognising reality. If Palace win tonight, they can actually overhaul the rags on Saturday with a win at the swamp. Then it'll really dawn on them just how shit they are.

Herrera was on the bench for them yesterday. At a guess Jones, Falcao and evans were the legit first teamers they have out. They'll probably claim kids like Lingard and the like as well.

Fuckface Jones, Rafael, Falcao, Rapey Evans, Fletcher, Herrera and Tom Daley, so i was told today and it made all the difference, the Rag saying it shut up and walked off when i mentioned Little Dave and not one of them being able to lace his boots, let alone make a difference like he would. He tried again with 'moral victory' and i said what was moral about the ref not giving 3 blatant pens? He walked off again, i'm hoping for round 3 soon.
