I keep reading and hearing that they are improving. I just don't see it.

They look shit!

Me too. I was off work yesterday so asked the office Rag this morning what gave them all that confidence last week after just 3 wins and 4 draws in 10 domestic games.

His answer was "your form" so it wasn't confidence in their team, more a probably correct perception that we are not currently at our best.

I find all the negative digs at united very strange,

when looking at all the facts united are a far superior team than in the season we first won the prem ,infact 200% better ,they managed two shots on target this year ,remember the 1-0 kompany win they had none, conclusive proof that the mighty manyoo are back with a bang

Great evaluation of them that is panther.
Beyond the laughs at their expense as just a footy fan that sums them up exactly.

Ta - took me hours to type it too - I could barely see, as the tears of laughter clouded my eyes.
Happy days!

For one serious second here before going back to full on piss take mode, what the actual fuck is a man like LVG, with his record in the game doing with the aids ridden serial cheater by his side?

Its a fucking joke that **** is sat on a bench at this level and is clearly out of his depth.

The whole club has lost the plot and like the grievers, they have swallowed their own shite and become almost cult like believing the "united way" bullshit.

There is and never was a rags fucking way, just a bacon face way and he has gone thank fuck.

Let them carry on, sleepwalking into the next huge fuck up because thats the path they have taken.

Lovely :-)

You know it's funny, I would have thought that Van Gaal would have (unlike Moyes) the power to set his own terms taking the job and tell Giggs to fuck off, but on the bright side if he doesn't, then the next dickhead they hire won't either. :)

I can see di Maria pushing for a transfer to PSG as well if they miss top 4. That could leave them with Mata, Herrera and Shaw. LOL.

The Angel of the West was desperate to come and play with his mate, Zab. Both di Maria and de Gea must get pissed off turning up for work on Saturday and they only see FatScouseGit putting in a shift!

We could have used him as well tbf, a lot better than the rags currently are as he'd do more damage by not being the focal (in fact the only) point of an attack. Pity, can't see them selling to us next summer.

They ain't gonna get their money back on him!!

What was the fee? £59.5m or something like that? Nah, can't see PSG even paying more than £40m, in fact if it was anyone other than the red scum I don't think Madrid would have gotten anything like that fee, don't think they would have even tried.

Don't know anything about "football observatory",but this is what they reckon...

Manchester United overpaid by €30million to land Angel Di Maria, according to the Football Observatory.

The Red Devils smashed the British transfer record when they brought in the Argentine for £59.7million (€75million).

There were of course plenty of other major deals too prior to the summer window shutting at 11pm on Monday night.

Football Observatory have looked at every transfer worth more than €10million across Europe and compared them against OPTA stats to see which clubs over-paid, under-paid and splashed the right amount of cash.

And Di Maria's switch to Old Trafford is seen as the biggest mistake, with the 26 year-old in fact valued at €45million (£36million).

United are also regarded to have paid over the odds for Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw - as did Arsenal with their signings of Alexis Sanchez and Calum Chambers.
