Looking at the Groups in this year's Europa it must be the weakest collection of clubs ever in the competition. EUFA must be hoping a few names drop out of the CL to improve the quality.

It's a joke competition for also-rans.

I have always looked upon it as having been deliberately constructed to be as convoluted and far-flung as possible, so as to complicate the life of any up-and-coming would-be threat to the Old Order clubs.
