I suspect what he meant is that they now leave an indelible blank on his mind - I kind of agree but I cannot forget the years over my lifetime and the fact that when we were relatively successful in the 70's but somehow a relegation bound rags team got a lot of coverage and that continues now but they are always too far behind pointswise to be anything other than a memory - in a few years time if they manage a change of owners and focus they may come back but for now they are just.....................................nothing
