Superb! Man United the gift that keeps on giving
They've played and beaten spurs, Liverpool and arsenal(granted all at home) and drew to Chelsea and Newcastle. They took a hammering from us but that's their only defeat to the top 6 and that's their hardest fixture done with. We've beaten the scum at home, lost at Anfield and drew at St james' and not played anybody else. They've undoubtedly had a harder fixture list. As have every other top 6 side. They haven't had a much harder fixture list than we have. One area where their fixture list has been easier than ours is in Europe.
C/L > than E/L.
Less demanding fixtures in Europe has meant that they could throw more effort into P/L matches.
Carry on at that pace and we’d be 16 points ahead by the end of the season. Add to fact we are likely to improve could be bigger.
Silly judgements being made after low number of games as per
“Nothing” I fancy that will prove to be factually inaccurate. They've played and beaten spurs, Liverpool and arsenal(granted all at home) and drew to Chelsea and Newcastle. Nothing will carry on at that pace as the fixtures aren't symmetrical. 14 games isn't a low number of games either, it's more than a third of the season and no judgements, silly or otherwise we're made. Was a simple statement that a combination of them not being as bad as we think and would like them to be alongside us unexpectedly dropping a significant number points leaves them a lot closer than they ought to be.
Is Gernacho better than Palmer/ Borges ?
Hes slagging off the lack of investment in the club regarding infrastructure. No improvement since he left.
Imagine if we’d signed him.
