I must apologise to the forum for slipping in to full gloating mode! Not even the Spanish Chanpions, let alone the German champs, and a two goal lead with ne'er ten mins to go. What has happened to that team who used to grind out lucky, shitty goals at the death. Oh, just a mo, I see they got ALL the fuckin' goals last night and next to nowt to show for it. What did they use to say about some boxing matches - yer have to batter someone four nil to get a draw. Slaphead has been an absolute bargain - for any opposition team that has the luck of coming to The Swamp! Not quite one of those glorious European nights they enjoy so much down t'other end of the East Lancs.
