Anyone think that a certain Mr P Jones might have skewed those stats a little?

This is over 22 years (why 22?!?) - presumably because they think that's the maximum 'lifetime' of player - which is a very odd way of working it out, how can anyone currently at a club be included in the figures, or rather how is that taken into account for their "lifetime"?

It would make more sense to be for any player who played in the last 10 years, with some sort of apportionment calc for anyone currently playing/started playing before 10 years.

"10 years" or even "5 years" provides a current snapshot of the current state of the PL.

I can't see it being great news for United if they did that type of analysis.
We, would benefit greatly, as the turnover of 1st team players has reduced greatly since 22 years ago.

This entire article smacks of the "push the red shirts to the top" agenda, a la "liverpool won the PL, if goals outside the box counted double" bollox.
