Part of me quite likes it that every season they go in with hope that finally this is their year, only to have it slowly slip away into despair.

It must be torture for them.

When you’re really shit and hopeless you can at least sort of have a laugh at how crap you are. We know that better than anyone.

Where United are is a sort of perpetually painful no man’s land, a purgatory. Long may it continue.

This is probably worse for them, it's purgatory. If it were to go pear shaped the true fans would have a better chance of getting rid of the Glazers

How far do people think they could fall.
Yes they have a really very average/poor squad.

Massive season for them coming up, regardless of ownership they need to progress with the latest chosen one and win something significant. Their global appeal is dwindling the none legacy fans and their kids don’t follow “their” club to be second best, or even worse, and loyalty isn’t strong Competition is getting better and it won’t be as easy for them

I don’t get why no one is asking why this guy from Qatar has a personal fortune of £1.5 billion, where is the rest of the money coming from? So they are going protesting again (all 12 of them). They love going on these protests with the majority carrying a club shop bag along with the new shirt and a Norwich scarf.

What year did the rags put that banner in the swamp? It surely couldn't have been in the first years after
