It is funny but at the same time it's a bit frustrating that their revenues and access to funds (or access to debt) are still so high that they can effectively spaff this kind of money away and yet still continue to compete in the transfer market and spend probably the same again to try and rectify and replace these bad buys.

If most other clubs spent that amount on duff players they'd end up financially crippling themselves, yet united can just go out and spend the same again, seemingly indefinitely.
