I think Trump wants to be a nationalist isolationist, allowing autocrats and strongmen across the globe to have their way, while accepting him as a member of their club. He’s a “tough guy Wannabee.”

He will spout about strength while feigning it or using the military to send a message for him when he wants them to.

He’s not a thinker, or a student of history. Rather, he has a “how does this personally help me” transactional view of the world. Now, I couldn’t care less about that if he was Joe Public, but as the supposed Most Powerful Man on Earth, it scares the shit out of me, because my mind can literally not conceive of the levels to which he will stoop to line his own pockets or curry future favor. I mean, he already wears knee pads for the Saudis!

I’d be most worried about his more immediate promise of all hell breaking loose in The Middle East by inauguration day.

Never mind Greenland. He does tend to just throw out distractions.
But what do you think his interests in Israel are? He could assist the starting of WWIII through being a bullying gobshite.

Trump, Vance, anyone. I don't care. This what is different between the left and the right. Anyone that is going to stop releasing killers and other criminals has got my ear.

How many times do I have to say on here that Trump is irrelevant? It's about common sense. Trump and common sense may not mix, but anything is better than the place the Democrats are in.

Never ceases to amaze the mental gymnastics that people do in order to make the object of their derision into every possible bad thing.
They aren't content with them just being a bad thing, they have to be literally the worst possible thing in the world who commit every possible sin constantly.
If you can't find redeeming features in your political "enemy" then your opinion is worthless and about as valuable as the David Icke lizard peoples.

He’s trying to line himself up as the Savior, as Blinken tries to broker a deal. Trump talks big, then takes credit for ANYTHING he thinks he can when something happens.

I realise there’s plenty in America that lap that up, but is it not so transparent to the rest of the world?

I just have a rule of thumb when watching any interview with him now.
How do I know if he’s lying? Simple. His lips move.

It really is that simple with him. I genuinely don't think he's capable of uttering more than a few incoherent sentences without telling at least one easily provable lie. If you hooked the **** up to a polygraph you could probably power a small city.

It is, but Trump doesn't care how he's viewed outside the US, as far as I can see. Neither do his acolytes.
He'll posture as a hardman and take any credit he can, knowing that politics requires other leaders to attribute it to him.
