Var debate 2019/20

And the latest is :

There will be no review of the handball law after Gabriel Jesus' disallowed goal for Manchester City against Tottenham, say football's rule-makers.

A video assistant referee (VAR) review ruled the ball had brushed Aymeric Laporte's arm in the build-up to Jesus' effort in the Premier League game.

The law, amended on 1 June, states any use of the hand which leads to a goal or a chance will be penalised.

Law-makers Ifab said one incident would not trigger a review.
Lukas Brud, a spokesperson for the International Football Association Board, added: "The laws are fairly clear. It's more about acceptance and communication rather than saying, 'Oh, now we have to react immediately and change something'.

"We constantly monitor what is happening in football every day. If we feel that something needs to be reviewed, then of course we put it on the agenda, we discuss it with the various bodies of the Ifab, including our panels who also bring comments forward sometimes."
The fuckers have got a nerve.Even they`re saying there`s an Agenda.
That's not even what the law states! What is the actual point anymore?

Multi-billion pound industry brings in game changing systems having trialled it throughout one cup competition last season with many teething issues.

This season, they’ve now rolled it out throughout the whole league without addressing these issues, instead choosing to look at other rules and parameters which has now stirred the mud up in the already dirty water - no fucker knows what the rules look like in correct application anymore.

That, alongside no actual accountability or structure in place for VAR to be consistently and fairly applied, is already setting off this season to a shitshow.

Someone needs sacking.

Why would it ? instead of just posting a clip please explain why you think it will stop it. If VAR didn't interfere on Saturday why would they interfere in this instance ?

in tha instane the ref gave a penalty......for all penalty decisions they ahve to be reviewed byt VAR so anyone on a video looking at that can see there is no contact at all so teh penalty would be over ruled.

WTF you on about - watch the clip above. It's a clear and obvious error and yet VAR hasn't overruled.
