I don't think it's killed the game.Slight twist there to my point.
If VAR has ‘killed’ football like so many repeatedly claim then why aren’t fans boycotting? And instead attendances/viewers are increasing?
Admit VAR hasn’t killed the game - And then we can move on to discuss the pros and cons.
Fans don’t boycott because there’s no alternative- it’s not like giving your local Asda a miss because they’ve ruined your shopping experience.
You keep citing increased attendances / viewers - that’s despite VAR.
Let the authorities put it to a vote. Every season ticket holder gets a simple yes / no vote. How do you think the majority would vote?
We’ve now gone from not being sure whether to celebrate to leaving the game and not being sure the result will stand (see recent Belgium game).
Yer right, BH, about it constantly evolving - pen one half and fuck all the next half! As for improving? I think those who are operating VAR would be more than happy for it to stay in the format in which it is currently operated. That is most certainly what you get without VAR.
VAR gives a chance to reduce those refereeing mistakes - it won’t and never will completely eliminate it.
It wasn’t all fine and dandy prior VAR, it was constant outrage about officiating, lots of rose tinted glasses that everyone will be happier if we scrap VAR - check the recent West Ham match v Bristol City when they should have had two clear red cards - our fans outrage and furious VAR isn’t in use.
Obviously it will always go round in circles this debate - I’ll always stick with keeping VAR because it always has room to improve and constantly evolve. It’s not great, it spoils the game at times, it gets things wrongs, it can be slow … I’ve highlighted the negatives of VAR over and over and over and happy to continue so.
It wont improve or evolve with those cunts running it though and that herein is the biggest problem. That is most certainly what you get without VAR.

Tell me one example of var not ruining football.Slight twist there to my point.

So despite the people running football being found to be corrupt on multiple occasions you dont think football is corrupt?I'd boycott football if i didn't get any enjoyment from it and especially if i thought it was corrupt.
More than happy to scrap it if everyone didn't scream corruption and moan about refs decisions which could had been addressed, simply by another official watching on a monitor.
Its obvious there's constant outrage with or without VAR, my personal preference is to stick with VAR and evole it to improve. Its perfectly fine for you or 99% of fans to feel opposite.
Tell me one example of var not ruining football.
I'll give you 100 when it has

Season ticket holder here..I vote against varFans don’t boycott because there’s no alternative- it’s not like giving your local Asda a miss because they’ve ruined your shopping experience.

that wasnt my question thoI get bored of every single club and it's fanbase claiming corruption for refs decisions they don't agree with
that wasnt my question tho
no it isnt, its a simple yes or no question, despite there being documented cases of corruption at virtually all levels of football do you still believe that it is not corrupt?Question is to broad and generalised.
Because there’s been some examples of corruption in football in the history of the game that means it’s still corrupt at all levels ?

I firmly believe that games are being officiated in a manner to 'keep them competitive' as long as possible in order to keep TV audiences 'entertained', which is by definition corruption. No i don’t believe the whole of football is corrupt.
okay thenNo i don’t believe the whole of football is corrupt.
okay then
can you give me, say, 5 examples that the whole football industry is corrupt?
