Same with time limitsBut theyd still have millimetre decisions to make
No matter day light or toe nail, the lines will still need to be drawn
Oh 3 secs too soon that decision

All reasonable ideas. There are probably many more. Irrelevant though as fifa pigmol etc aren’t interested in improving it, only justifying it. When people behave like that with something accepted to be obviously flawed by many people you can only come to one conclusion as to motiveIn my opinion VAR isnt bent, or crooked or corrupt. I dont believe it manipulates results for spurious reasons… its just an inept system ran by inept operators
Its not going any where though so it needs reviewing.
2 things i would immediately change , where VAR is in operation the ground HAS to have screens within the stadium so match going fans know whats going on.
Rugby has it, cricket too. Why not football? The pricks in the box can hide.
And guess which 2 stadiums dont have a screen?
2nd id put a time limit on a decision. If its taking 5.5 minutes to draw lines then its taking too long. If they cant make a decision after 1 minute then go with the goal
This is the thing that I'm still fuming about the most.It seems rather strange to me that the majority of the shocking decisions Stuart Twatwell is involved in.He is an incompetent dickhead and that phantom goal years ago should have been a warning sign that he shouldn’t be anywhere near a football conceed
Literally giving the PL the power to award or punish which teams they want to.Fifa will not adopt the Premier League's offside “zone of tolerance” that allowed Florian Wirtz's goal for Liverpool against Fulham on Sunday to stand. It means any offside decisions at this summer's World Cup will be strictly enforced rather than the 5cm margin of error that is applied in the Premier League......
Who knows where they arbitrarily aligned their lines, but yes, they should have been on Pope.
It's clear Haaland was in an offside position. It's not clear though, how he affected play.
Chris Sutton: "I think the game has gone. Is Thiaw really going to stop that? The distance from Semenyo is a yard, a yard and a half. Thiaw is not going to react to that."
And Dan Burn manages to contradict himself within two sentences: "I do think it is the right decision, I just don't like the subjective offside. It's either offside, or it's not. We don't want to see that, but by the letter of the law it should be disallowed."
You can't have both subjective and letter of the law, Dan. By the letter of the law, Haaland was in an offside position. That in itself isn't enough to give an offside decision though.
Spot on, if you need 5 minutes & a magnifying glass its not obviously offside.Just don’t use it to forensically examine every goal. If the ref gives it and it’s not obvious straight away on video then go with the ref’s decision. It would take 30 seconds, job done.
I bet you enjoyed Citys 'goal' last night ?Liverpool goal using this tolerance level is the same as Bernie against Sunderland. Both look identical so why wasn't the tolerance level used to allow Bernie's goal ?
If anything Bernie was more onside then the dippers, so Bernie was more within the tolerance range.
We all know why because football is BENT.
Can't see me every attending another match to be honest, this rigging of results has done me.
I dont enjoy modern football, players faking head injuries, time-wasting etc.
Yep, they're more 'n happy that it delivers the outcome they crave. The arbitration of the game is rather similar to someone assembling a Sheraton sideboard held together with six inch nails. It can’t be fixed as they won’t accept anything is wrong with it
How much money has been wasted on semi automatic technology just to come up with decisions like that? There were a couple of offsides last night that were obvious but the flag didn’t go up straight away. They are hiding behind technology to avoid dropping clangers and it doesn’t look good .Stones got injured when play continued after a blatant offside a while ago it’s ruined the gameSpot on, if you need 5 minutes & a magnifying glass its not obviously offside.
And it starts as soon as the whistling wanker blows for kick off and not long after that wonderful 'spirit of football' - tha fairplay handshake. Hypocrites.Liverpool goal using this tolerance level is the same as Bernie against Sunderland. Both look identical so why wasn't the tolerance level used to allow Bernie's goal ?

The same official doesn't seem to care about a player being 6 yards offside against us as we conceed a goal at the swamp, yet appears hellbent on trying to find an offside against us when we went 2 up last night.
And this decision just 2 weeks after Wirtz and the 5cm allowance.
I wonder if Fulham have heard anything back from PIGMOL yet on that, as they had requested a meeting and explanation but had no response as of last week
Exactly, not one City fan would begrudge if it was the other way round and a goal was awarded. And I'd feel the same if it had been the other way round.
Honestly think that those who defend it aren't genuine football fans.
