Its not going any where though so it needs reviewing.

2 things i would immediately change , where VAR is in operation the ground HAS to have screens within the stadium so match going fans know whats going on.
Rugby has it, cricket too. Why not football? The pricks in the box can hide.
And guess which 2 stadiums dont have a screen?

2nd id put a time limit on a decision. If its taking 5.5 minutes to draw lines then its taking too long. If they cant make a decision after 1 minute then go with the goal

All reasonable ideas. There are probably many more. Irrelevant though as fifa pigmol etc aren’t interested in improving it, only justifying it. When people behave like that with something accepted to be obviously flawed by many people you can only come to one conclusion as to motive

This is the thing that I'm still fuming about the most.
The same official doesn't seem to care about a player being 6 yards offside against us as we conceed a goal at the swamp, yet appears hellbent on trying to find an offside against us when we went 2 up last night.
And this decision just 2 weeks after Wirtz and the 5cm allowance.
I wonder if Fulham have heard anything back from PIGMOL yet on that, as they had requested a meeting and explanation but had no response as of last week

VAR supporters will still defend this shite like the fools they are.

It's clear Haaland was in an offside position. It's not clear though, how he affected play.

You can't have both subjective and letter of the law, Dan. By the letter of the law, Haaland was in an offside position. That in itself isn't enough to give an offside decision though.

The blue line which was the defensive line clearly was drawn on Pope. The red line is where Haaland’s foot is.

This is my take though, the decision isn’t ridiculous because of Haaland’s position - he was quite clearly stood offside, and it’s not as close as a lot of others I’ve seen, his entire foot is beyond Pope and therefore offside.

It’s ridiculous because the defender is never in a million years stopping that from going in. It’s flashed past him from a yard away. Haaland could be in another post code and it would make no difference.
 
Let's just go back to the old system. Off is off, a foul is a foul. VAR has definitely been brought in to ' manipulate' the game. Even this year's introduction of toughening the game up, was brought in so the cloggers and grapplers could get away with murder, we all know which teams resort to it.
 
There's a palpable feeling from the team that we are being cheated against. I'm going with that. VAR is being used to engineer the PL results, I highly suspect that given what we are seeing.

We will get a favorable decision at utd imo. This has hit the headlines so it will go our way. That's manipulation itself, but let's see.

I dont enjoy modern football, players faking head injuries, time-wasting etc.

How much money has been wasted on semi automatic technology just to come up with decisions like that? There were a couple of offsides last night that were obvious but the flag didn’t go up straight away. They are hiding behind technology to avoid dropping clangers and it doesn’t look good .Stones got injured when play continued after a blatant offside a while ago it’s ruined the game

And it starts as soon as the whistling wanker blows for kick off and not long after that wonderful 'spirit of football' - tha fairplay handshake. Hypocrites.

Exactly he’s motivated to find a reason to allow & then motivated to disallow so when you see the common denominator that leads to corruption & not incompetence.

As far as I know he’s never been punished for these horrendous decisions we suffer.
