Quite a few have said it's a great idea, me being one. However, definitely not the same as saying 'VAR is great'. It hasn't had a great 24hrs.I wonder if in any of the 122 pages anyone has said ‘VAR is great’ … yet it still gets quoted. Strange.
Who would have thought you could so massively fuck up a system that gives officials a second look at an incident away from the pressure cauldron of the stadium.

Mind you, the pundits/media with their own agenda don't help. Look at the Coutinho goal yesterday. I've just seen a news item pop up about it from Sky Sports. They go into great detail about how it was a good goal, quotes from Slippy and Spitty about how it should have stood. At no point did they say the players had stopped due to the whistle being blown. It was a great strike but they should at least report that Coutinho was unopposed as the City players had stopped for the whistle.
