I am personally not happy about the current fashion to insist Phil Foden starts against Wales, if he does and doesn’t deliver, he will be forever damned. Personally I would prefer Southgate to play for a draw and rest the City players for the round of 16.if Wales turn England over and qualify at England’s expense, Belgium and Germany fail to get through the group stages, that means half our top players have a bonus mid-season break, and we could be fit and ready to go by Christmas.
