Birmingahm drew with us and then went to Anfield and got a point (when they should have got a win)
Wigan beat Chelsea but couldn't beat us
Burnley are beating Villa

So hardly worth slitting my wrists just yet.

Not worth slitting wrists yet, and not worth sacking the manager yet.

But we should be comparing ourselves to our rivals best achievements, not their worst.

Aside from extra time against Fulham reserves in the league cup, it remains a fact that we have yet to come from behind and win a game under Hughes. That, after 18 months and £200m is simply not good enough. His players, his tactics and his man management. Nobody else

Chelsea were after Hughes at the same point we were (allegedly)

He did nothing wrong today, infact he got everything spot on... I can't beleive after today people still feel the need to demand his head.

99.9% of people on here haven't got a clue what he's done for this club since he arrived, but those that do say he's doing a good job in what were difficult conditions. Its not a lack of ambition wanting to keep Hughes, and results havent been perfect, but still maybe some of us don't drop our bollocks at the first few games we don't win.

Thank God for the voice of reason. Spot on Mate

True and we should have ended our run of draws today no question... but whilst people demanding his head will point our letting 3 in at home to a promoted side, its only fair to put that iscolated fact into perspective.

2nd time you've mentioned Barry playing DM... if you watch the match again, he was playing level and often ahead of Ireland.

His only contribution (certainly that I can remember) was defensive - if he was supposed to be playing a more attacking role then his ineffectiveness in that area makes it an even more obvious choice to swap him for Tevez.

SWP struggled today but was at least positive going forward, and at a goal down and chasing the game positivity was what we needed.

What difficult conditions??.yeh i suppose the financial constraints are tough on him

Like i said 99.9% of us don't have a clue...

If we lose to Hull next week I'm sure we can all read about it in the Daily Mail again. ;)

Only fair to praise him when there are so many Hughes out threads!

He got everything right today, picked the line up everyone wanted, made some good subs, its not his fault the defense switch off.
The First 70 minutes were apalling & embarrising
