Wigan beat Chelsea but couldn't beat us
Burnley are beating Villa
So hardly worth slitting my wrists just yet.

He did nothing wrong today, infact he got everything spot on... I can't beleive after today people still feel the need to demand his head.
99.9% of people on here haven't got a clue what he's done for this club since he arrived, but those that do say he's doing a good job in what were difficult conditions. Its not a lack of ambition wanting to keep Hughes, and results havent been perfect, but still maybe some of us don't drop our bollocks at the first few games we don't win.

Not worth slitting wrists yet, and not worth sacking the manager yet.
But we should be comparing ourselves to our rivals best achievements, not their worst.

Like i said 99.9% of us don't have a clue...
The First 70 minutes were apalling & embarrisingsam the drummer said:Only fair to praise him when there are so many Hughes out threads!
He got everything right today, picked the line up everyone wanted, made some good subs, its not his fault the defense switch off.

If we lose to Hull next week I'm sure we can all read about it in the Daily Mail again. ;)

How convenient. For reasons nobody knows (and therefore cannot dispute) we should be feeling sorry for poor old hard done to Hughesy?
Well, in that case, I'm now fully convinced he's brilliant and not in fact, shit.

No idea what you're on about mate. One header does not a performance make.
And did the first half actually have any 'key' points?

0.1% is obviously not nobody. I never said he was brilliant. Nor did i say we should feel sorry for him... Christ your jumping to a lot of conclusions.
But thats not surprising, 'most' who want Hughes out, have never heard of progression, learning curves and evolution. Every great achiever started as a complete novice at some point. What i'm saying is, just because a manager hasn't won 20 league titles doesn't mean he never will.

No it doesnt but it also doesnt mean he will go on to do it either.
As far as i can see all the hughes innies base their arguments on the stabilty issue as if it was the holy grail? Give him time and he will come good!
Sorry but that is nothing but an assumption and wishful thinking.
You assume that he has the quality and skills to become an acheiver and so far we have seen nothing to warrent that assumption
