The match line up always brings forth a tirade of criticism. Feeling sorry for Delph, who is beginning to become an important player, is not what I feel. Jealousy perhaps, sorrow no.

Depends on what effect you are going for. He doesn't get credit for the defensive work he does, or the way he pulls defenders out wide to create space for Aguero and Silva.

I also think his crossing is not quite as bad as people make out (he isn't De Bruyne but he does put in a decent number of good balls that go wanting).

I honestly would have preferred Steeling and Navas but perhaps Manuel felt there was more overall balance away from home with De Bruyne in.
