West Ham v City ticket prices

I wouldn't be surprised if they struggled to sell out at those prices. You can't sustain a business on the fickle tourist market. Perhaps it is supply and demand but there has to be some community responsibility as well. Lots of people struggling financially in East London just as they are in Manchester.
The day tripping fan will pay up. It’s London, plenty of tourists around. The average fan, we dont matter.

once the hardcore turn their back matches will be played abroad
100% this is going to happen, this is what happens in NFL every season teams that struggle to sell home games play their home game in another country previously was just over here but now Germany, Spain, Mexico and Brazil all host a game , these games always sell out as the demand is there and this is what will happen with Premier League games

The day will eventually come where the hardcore turn their backs on football en masse and only then will the business side react. It will never be preventative action from them, only reactionary.

They all want the tourist money, they know part of the attraction is the hard-core local support, the premier league doesn't have the same appeal without them. just from our perspective, every tourist wants to be in the south stand when they come over for example and will pay more for that experience even at the expense of a poorer view of the pitch. what the money men in football are banking on is the unwavering loyalty, they know that isbeing strained every year with every decision they make that shits on us and it's going to hurt the future of the clubs support but they simply don't care, they won't be around for that, it's all about now for them.

The hope is the independent regulator identifies these kind of things as their primary issues to tackle, I'm not overly optimistic that will actually be the case but there's at least a better chance of it happening than hoping the clubs do it.

To be fair, I’ve been hearing this ever since Sky come into Football in the early 90’s.

PL has only ever got bigger and better imo, hence clubs can charge so much and it sells and people all over the world want a taste of it.

Do agree prices are a joke, fans should protest or boycott- until then they’ll carry on going up.

Boycotting in this day and age of the PL is pointless if the hardcore fans boycott the tourists will pick up the slack look at us charity shield last year I went to it and must of been the only city fan in the actual block

Not true. The Packers played in London but have a waiting list at home stadium that goes into decades. The nfl selects teams at semi random selection to play abroad. Packers play Philly in Mexico week 1, at either ground it’s a sell out.

thought when Packers played over here it was a Giants home game but I must be wrong about that one but you're right wherever Packers play it sells out

cheeseheads were home team, sickner if you have a Lambeau season ticket. Though the Jaguars have played in London a lot, talk about them becoming a full time nfl London team.

don't Jags have the owner who also owns Fulham? can't see them relocating to London full time pretty sure Everbank Stadium is also being renovated , the demand is there for the 3 or 4 annual London games but not sure if it would be for all Jags home games unless they were guaranteed to play Packers, Chiefs, 49ers & Cowboys at home every year but it doesn't work that way

Aye he owns Fulham too. The whole spurs building that new stadium with the retractable pitch for 2 games per year seems a bit much, maybe hoping for something more later down line perhaps.
