It will if we are doing everything right. It's not acceptable to not prepare and organise, have no game plan, have no ideas, have unbalanced formations, play players out of position, play players in areas of the pitch or in numbers in an area of the pitch where they're going to struggle, to have players clearly far less fit than the opposition, play into the opposition's hands with playing a high line but with a lack of pressure on the ball... I could go on and on and on...Whilst it isn't a given, it certainly is an expectation. You don't get the most wanted manager in world football to then not win anything.
We must be competing in every competition and winning stuff. Repeating this season in the premier league won't be acceptable
However, we might do everything right but come a semifinal or second to last league game, a bad bounce of the ball or an unfortunate slip and we lose and the trophy is gone. But because we've done everything right, it is acceptable.
