What are your unpopular opinions on City that you believe 100%?

Manchester United 1 Manchester City 6

United were champions, unbeaten at home for God knows how long, only lost the league that year by virtue of the last kick of the season and were comfortably champions again the following year.
The English media, laughably, predictably, gave MotM to an Englishman -a full back who was playing in the team that won by a cricket score. No disrespect to Micah but it was an utterly ridiculous decision.
Everybody knows who was really MotM that day. "He ran the show".
That, for me, was the greatest performance by any player for any team in any match that I have ever witnessed in nearly 50 years of watching English football.
One we'll all remember for the rest of our lives. The team we had that day was iconic and had so many special players.

The crayons have been put away now you'll have to wait till tomorrow.
I'd still have him in my top 5 players... Not saying he wasn't amazing just think there's a few other players who are ahead of him for title of greatest player at city. He has very similar stats to those of Cesc Fabregas in the prem and for Spain wasn't near to Iniestas' level so I think there's definitely room for debate!

David Silva - great player but overrated by some of our fanbase. 'Best player to play for the club' is the line that triggers me. Went missing too often in the big games and loved a stat pad vs the likes of Hull and Blackpool! As I said, great player but not the 'greatest'. Just my opinion ;).
A fucking dumb one it has to be said.

Tevez was an embarrassment to the club and should never have been forgiven by anyone, and his "heroic return" was massively overplayed by the media as they love a good narrative. Scored a few in a rout against a god awful Norwich and got an assist against Chelsea (mainly thanks to an unbelievable bit of play from Nasri). That aside, he was largely anonymous after his return, except being lucky not to get sent off against QPR, ruining our chances of the title with his petulance.

Completely agree - nowhere near the level of Yaya, Tevez or Aguero in terms of pure elite star quality, and even Gundogan had a bigger individual impact on a title win last season than Silva ever did.

His lack of impact in the final third in big games - especially in Europe - was a waste of an attacking spot and played a big part in our failures in Europe/the Pellegrini era. Great technically and aesthetically impressive, but it’s highly unlikely he’d have had the same impact that Colin Bell did on his good-but-not-great team.

Great to hear it's not just me..! How does he have a statue and Yaya doesn't...Give it a couple more seasons and he won't even be the best Silva to have worn the shirt (In my controversial opinion)!
