What has been your worst moment following our club?

The Bury one is bad, a few of the cold wet nights sitting in the Gean Kelly stand were also pretty low points, the owen last kick of the game (cheat ref atkinson) goal, but the worst one for me is when Tiatto scored against the spuds and then there was the pitch invasion, I really thought that finally we had a chance in the game, maybe even at last finally a chance to get to Wembley, then the pitch invasion. Oh and York away!

The twenty minutes or whatever it was between QPR’s second goal and Dzeko’s goal

I was just glued to my seat in shock and total horror

I think I’d become immune to all the shit between about 96 and 00. Nothing surprised me and no matter how bad it got I was always expecting it to get worse
So many dark dark thoughts we’re going through my head during that time I just can’t imagine if we hadn’t done what we did.

Been so many. One that did hurt badly in recent years was that spurs qf a few years ago in the CL. My god I stewed over that for weeks and weeks and still can’t stand seeing it.

Losing the Champions League final. I'm in my early thirties now, was raised a blue from the cradle so technically been a blue all my life, but only became fully immersed in football and City when I was around sixteen. So I've never lived through anything worse than my aforementioned worst moment. My dad might respond differently to the question, whom himself is dyed in the wool blue, but he too was crushed when we lost.

Last summer still stings, it felt all the stars were in alignment but it was not to be. That being said, I'm confident we'll lift Big Ears sooner rather than later.

Phelan, not Tiatto!

Id stormed off hone when Spurs went 5-1 up, got to the car and realised I’d missed the only memorable things to happen that day: their goal disallowed, the phelan goal and the pitch invasion.

I did things I’m not proud of after that match. Got the train back to London and was shouting at Spurs fans on my train. Then on the Monday I took a phone call from a colleague’s boyfriend and called him a “Tottenham ****”.

it really was a bad day because all of our dreams got pissed on.

I’m 51 and the champions league final was up there with Spurs 81, Luton 83 and all the other relegations for me. It really hurt badly. As with all those defeats though, it will make it even sweeter when we do with it.

Yeah sorry you're right, Terry Phelan. The other 2 I forgot was the 2011-12 season when Swansea beat us, I was so low after that, then when arse beat us a couple of weeks later I really thought we'd blown it - typical City - Hahaha what did I know!

1-0 down against Darlington FA cup second round 1998.
Fans were arguing and fighting.
The City bench was being abused. The atmosphere was awful.
Luckily Dicky scored an equalizer.
10 days later we beat Darlington in the replay. Michael Brown scored only goal in front of fewer than 9000 fans.
The following week we went to York.......

Me as well, the day was awesome, flying to Porto, singing on the plane, drinking and eating on the riverside, great seats, then the team selection was announced and then that bloody game, reminded me a bit of the FA cup final v Wigan. It was a long trip home that's for sure :(

Same for me exactly. I was out there for a few days and everything was prefect. I was very emotional: it felt like this was our destiny: the end of the journey I’d started in the late 70s.
