Whatever happened to Niall Quinn?

Maybe he’s provided a statement to the hearing on how Sky Sports insisted on him being negative about our club. And how, whilst he was Sunderland Chairman, that he witnessed Premier League adverse treatment of our club due to our ‘foreign’ owners.
One can hope.
It’s more likely that he’s realised he can earn a few quid doing City ex-player media stuff, particularly given our new found rivalry with Arsenal, his first club.
 
Shame. We did wonders for his career and he was great for us and there was real affection we loved him. I suppose it shows how its a job only and the affiliation we bring to it as fans means there is a disconnect to people who are just plying their trade at that time for our club
 
Liked Quinn at the time , seemed an old school gent . However when that extended to laughing and smiling with utd players after the 5-0 mauling , I wished he was an absolute **** of a human being a would resort to twatting a few .
 
For many players City were just a stop gap club they did a job we paid their wages just like most of us, in fact every club is just a stop gap for players with a very short cart
 
sure I’ve heard that he was promised a ford probe whilst playing for us that never materialised. Along with money he also never received. Probably bollocks but who knows. I’ve heard him say he liked his time with us, but Sunderland really got under his skin or words to that effect. Either way fuck him and not arsed
