I've just seen your posts talking shit about something else bizarre but this is pathetic. Are you mentally simple to say such daft comments? You need help!

Its a given with most rags. Everyone that comes across his posts, should ignore it.

It's funny because he's so transparent. Lescott was wonderful for us for the past 2 seasons. Everyone makes the occasional mistake but Lescott+Kompany were statistically the best defensive duo last season. He's also part of the reason Hart was able to get the golden gloves two years running.

Dzeko was our second-best goalscorer last season with some-number-that's-not-that-many-at-all starts. He's a big lad and he's never gonna move around like a ballerina on the pitch, but he still produces. Just like Yaya has a tendency to fall over, slip, or commit silly fouls because of his size, when he gets running though the opposition is shitting it.

dzeko had a decent game yesterday, i will give him a solid seven, was strong. only missed one oppurtunity , buried his chance, held the ball up well. Was good in the build up play
confidence will be up , he will find form and silence the doubters , he has an oppurtunity for a run of games

-- Mon Aug 20, 2012 7:02 am --

thats just unfair....people should pay attention.

clichy had a good game yesterday

Watching tunnel cam it was interesting that Joe Hart was telling the others to look lively, I think some of them are still in holiday mode, I suppose to some of them it's like the first day back at work after time off, no doubt we will improve when NDJ and GB are back on the pitch.

On that note I really hope NDJ stays, unsung hero and a big loss that some wont realise until he's gone.....too late.

I'm glad we reverted to 4 at the back, although why we didn't even play it once in the pre season games is beyond me. Richards needs to come back for zab. That will help. But the biggest imbalance yesterday was central midfield.

Yaya is not a holding player. I wish the manager would just accept this and play him where he's most effective. If the run in to the season taught us anything, surely it was that. Also yesterday's midfield for much of the game was not linking up well enough with the attack. Too much sideways passing and not enough penatrative passing. Barry is a big miss for this reason.

Our defence has collapsed over the last major matches.
QPR 3-2
Chelsea 3-2
Southampton 3-2

I can see it, you can see it
Mancini-Kidd can see it
What the hell is going wrong ?
Why are we conceding goals hand over fist ?

Win the League...not with shipping this amount against us, its odds on we are not going to turn a game against us conceding mickey mouse goals time and time again.

What has changed ?
Who are not working a shift or has Mancini's tactics changed ?

I am worried, the whole dynamic of our defence approach has weakened, are you ?

Lescott.........................

I think Yaya is most effective when he starts deep and becomes more attacking as the game opens up. When he starts in the more advanced position he generally doesnt make much impact in the first 30 mins.

It was noticeable yesterday that Rodwell appeared to be copying Yaya in terms of the positions he took, often standing 10m to one side of him. Normally Barry or De Jong play just behind Yaya giving him more freedom to get forward and encouraging more forward balls. Rodwell was also passing sideways whenever possible. But I put that down to a young debutant, unfamiliar with his teammates, and playing very conservatively.
