Who we really should buy in the summer..

In. 1 quality central midfielder. 1, high class centre half. 1 bums on seats forward.

My bet big names.

Centre half Mangala.
Centre mid. Fernado/Carvalho or my favourites Gundogan or Pogba.
Exciting forward. My bet one of 3' Di Maria, the lesser spotted Isco or Messi.

If we win the league I see a net spend of £80-£100 million.

I do think we will have an amazing squad next season.

Sell, Guidetti £3-5 million. I see Dzeko going for £15-£20 million. Possibly Richards, I would bring in Sagna for free. I think Pantilimon will leave. £3-4 million?

All completely pie in the sky, but I do see us strengthening right down the middle and adding a 'star' forward.

Top centre half, Sagna on a free, Top centre Mid, a left footed Navas to play on the other wing.

Keep the 4 strikers we have.

For me

GK Hart, Forster/Foster, Taylor
RB Zabaleta, Cancelo
LB Shaw/Coentrao/Moreno, Clichy
CB Kompany, Mangala, Demichelis, Nastasic, Rekik
MC Yaya, Fernandinho, Carvalho/Fernando, Garcia, Zuculini
AM/W Silva, Nasri, Milner, Navas, Lopes
ST Aguero, Negredo, Jovetic, Guidetti

Someone pointed out buying the reading goalkeeper, not a bad shout that

I think we desperately need that extra pacey forward who can run behind the defences and give Silva better options to thread balls to.

You look at Barca, Iniesta and Xavi have Pedro or Neymar, Messi and Sanchez to thread balls to, with their pace it's no wonder they find destroying most defences easy.

My dream Champions League line-up next season would be:

Reus-----------Segio----------Silva
------------Yaya------Ferny---------
---------------Fernando------------
Shaw--Mangala-VK--Zabaleta
-------------------Hart----------------

Pace, power, destruction, creation and intricacy.

I would have Res doing what Pedro does for Barca and cutting in from through balls from Iniesta or Xavi.

Just let Silva roam about and give Yaya no defensive duties, let him roam about doing his thing.

I am in football manager mode here but one can dream.

Fernando
Mangala
Lavezzi
Sagna

We will only thus be signing players whose surnames end in a vowel. :-)

Lavezzi will be 29 in May so I can't see that happening.

Fernando and Mangala defintely for me mate, Sagna as back-up for ZabMan as well.

Like I posted up above Reus would be the dream signing for City, he can play on the wing and behind the striker, it makes sense to me.

He would go into our starting XI as well I reckon.

True, but Reus ruins my vowel point. ;-)

I just chose Lavezzi as he may be unsettled in Paris, fits in with our Spanish-speaking contingent, and would challenge for a starting position.

If we're keen for a left sided centre half then I'd throw in a cheeky bid for Vertonghen.

Think he's got the talent and he's proven it in the PL, just seems to be disinterested at Spurs. Would do well alongside his fellow countryman and I reckon we could get him on the cheap considering his form.
