I think I said this before..

There is a computer game that I love called Eastside Hockey Manager. I played it religiously, Istill do in online leagues actually. I loved it, managing players, contracts, tactics etc. They stopped making new ones after 2007. The game became too easy and I needed a new challenge. A friend of mine who is right into Bayern Munich was always talking about football, so I got Football Manager, I can't remember which year.. 2009 I think. I started off as West Ham. I chose West Ham because my favorite band is Iron Maiden and Steve Harris is my hero, apparently he's a raging Hammer fan. I picked up Michael Johnson because he looked good and was a wonderkid, he became the central figure of my team. Now I'm not gay or anything but I absolutely hated the West Ham colors. So I started a new game. It should be said here after having a look around the big names of the EPL in that game I despised ManU because I hated the name Wayne Rooney. I read that name and envisioned an ugly arrogant twat, tainting ManU's appeal forever more. My favorite color was red, so naturally I chose Arsenal, they were good and I immediately picked up MJ, then I got Micah Richards, he was followed by Elano, next up was Corluka(sp?). I even enjoyed there managers name, Sven-Goran Erickson(again sp?). Eventually I sat there and looked at City's team and went I my as well just manage that team! So I started a new game, this time managing City. I won the premier league countless times, a few Champions Cups, FA Cup, League Cup. Eventually I began to wonder how they were doing in real-life. So I checked them out on the internet. That was the day we lost 3-0 to Nottingham Forest, lol. I had a laugh and began to check on scores more regularly. Within about a month I was watching every game I could on the internet, and to this day, I have missed only a handful of games, (thankfully I missed that loss to Tottenham), and talk incessantly about City to people who clearly do not care to hear about City.

As a couple of added notes, there were two other teams that caught my interest and that I also follow, albeit not as hardcore as City. Those two teams are Blackpool and Nottingham Forest (go figure). Blackpool is so evil sounding that I cant help loving the team. Nottingham Forest because I always thought Nottingham Forest was a make-belief forest in Robin Hood. Sorry if anyone finds it offensive but I laughed my ass off when I found out there was an actual place called that. I hope someone enjoys my story, I'm half asleep typing it out and was aiming for a short response.. and off to bed I am.

well was born a blue:) my familys a blue (except a few cousins+my nanna)
+ my uncle used to play for city

It's a family thing.
My Mum's side of the family are from Manchester and my Great-Granddad was one of the 1st Blues, my Granddad was therefore also a Blue as in my Mum.
But she grew up in Sale in the 1960s and used to go and watch both City when they were at home and Utd when they were at home. Her father then gave her a choice of who to support and for some unknown reason, she chose the Blues.
I, therefore, had no choice in the matter. She's now in her 60s but still has her season ticket and travels down 60 miles to every home match.

My brother & I were born in Glasgow & both were Celtic fan only. We decided when I was around age 8 that we were to pick English teams to follow also. This was in or around 1972. We all know City was the team in the 70’s which I chose & my brother picked Wolves. My brother has taken a bit of interest in City now. Both my wife & sons is a City fan now also.
