C'mon CITEH.

Just a word of advice. "Citeh" is a spelling of "City" designed to mock the Manc accent. You won't find many on here who will appreciate you using it.

Don't mind it.

At least we're not cockneys shouting "yaaaniiiitiidd"

So I had once posted about this in different thread and got a bit of flank from couple of guys

....I followed france in 2006 world cup when zidane head butt incident happened...wasnt much into domestic football then, only followed cricket....few of my mates in higher colleges here in india used to follow PL and most of them followed manu/arsenal/liverpool...I tried watching few games of manu and found their 1-0 victories boring ...and I used to get irritated by arrogance of fellow guys supporting united.....then started supporting city whenever they used to play against them ...soon take over happened with new players coming in and I seriously started watching city play and then became lover of this wonderful team :)

Okay. Someone's on the WUM. Serving a ban at the moment?

As well as the highlighted sentence, you used the word "Nope" which is coloquial and then stuck an 's' on the end to make you sound like a dumb foreigner. But you wouldn't know the word "Nope" and that it meant 'No', if you were from India.

Seriously, this is a shit WUM and I can't believe no-one else has spotted it.

I'm a JCL. Followed City very late around 1997 onwards. Went to a few Maine road games but thats about it. Started a City supporter club in 2001 but I found I was the only blue in my country.

Stayed in the City in 2007 but never got a chance to watch a match at COMS. I was in bluemoon then though but never got to remember the password for that one.

Now Im back in the City so Im hoping to get in a few games.

Ive actually forgotten why I support City but I did have short stays in London in the mid 90s and followed football and I could relate to City the most. Am a big fan of Darren Huckerby, Tiatto, Weaver and co. My family members are all Liverpool supporters.

I can vouch though. Never in my years would I have thought of seeing people wearing our colours in Far East Asia other than Thailand. A lot of knock offs yes but some genuine new supporters.

I am your resident glory hunter!

Edit:

I remember now. I did gigs in the late 90s and I was a big fan of Oasis and the Gallaghers really did sell City on me. That got me to watching City games. Funny how Ive forgotten about this but I guess I dont listen to much Oasis now.

LOL. It was meant as a compliment. That is how it sounds to me, and i have seen it spelled that
way. I think i heard it in the 5 minute video also - the video of THE match when Aguero scored
for the TITLE.

It runs in the family! Dad was a blue, so I had no choice in the matter! It was the early 70's we were actually pretty good back then, not that I remember that much, it was later, mid to late 70's so I still managed to see Some of the greats, and the 81 FA cup run, and the heartache the next day at school after the replay.
Now the story goes full circle, my son has been indoctrinated at time when we are again a great team, my in-laws are all Reds, and wanted to buy him a UTD kit, so I had to assert my authority and put them all straight, in no uncertain terms!

That's nothing to be ashamed of. I didn't start following them until 1997 myself. All that matters is that you're Blue and loyal to the cause.

How the F is it a compliment?

I don't get why even some local United fans use it as well - unless it really is because they are just that stupid. Their non-local fans are in effect mocking the city (questionable) of the team they support.

I'm actually from Nottingham, I had only ever followed League one (Notts County) until we drew City in the FA cup (Draw at our place, then thrashed at the Etihad) ever since then I've tried to catch as many games as possible and been to 7/8 games at the Etihad.
