why pellegrini

whoever it is he has to be quick. we simply can not afford to fuck the summer up as we did last year.

That's of course if Txiki and Feran are going to appoint a traditional Manager, for all we know they'll bring in their own players and the right person to Coach them.

Tolmie said that he was told that it wasn't Pellegrini. However the reliable source didn't disclose who it was.

This plot is thickening rapidly.

Thought that was just a wind up?

No it was just his usual spin - if we get Pellegrini than nobody bats an eyelid, but if we get someone else (which is entirely possible) then he can say "look I am ITK" - fucking genius really

Bit harsh. I always take note when Tolmie posts, Billy Shears and Danamy too. They seem to have an ear to the ground more than anyone else on here - fbloke on Twitter too. I think TH's post last night was more of a 'i've heard something completely left field and out of the blue', and shared it with us rather than being a case of him covering his back. Then again though I don't believe in the agenda, so what do I know!

Hi guys and girls. This will be my first post on this forum, however I have been reading it for some time. Interesting thread this.

I like others am sad to see Mancini go. I was/am a big fan of his for what he did for the club, but like others I do feel it was the right decision. Don't get me wrong, I think sacking the bloke with two games to go is a disgrace!! They should of at least given him the rest of the season IMO.

I have faith in the owners and our director of football, who is no idiot having worked with the best at Barca and has first hand experience of what Pelligrini did with Villareal, in that Pelligrini, should he be officially appointed of course, should do well at the club! The fact that he hasn't won a major trophie doesn't bother me as it is his other qualities, qualities Mancini lacked, I am more interested in. Getting the most out of our squad for example, arguably the best squad in the league this season but we didn't win. Between by an ok Wigan team that we should really have walked over. The quality is there, however it was not being exploited by the manager.

Admittedly not seen any of Pelligrinis teams play and I knew little about the guy before his name was thrown into the hat, but, the more you read about him the more I am excited by the guy.

The king is dead, long live the king! Ha

You mean Pellegrini doesn't want a job, working on a project which is at a more advanced stage than that of his current club, a club which did indeed fuck him over?

I'm calling bullshit on that.
Nah, why would the journalist lie?
Well regarding what he said, (about Pellegrini not wanting to move because he actually enjoys his life in Malaga), what has he to gain by lying about that, and why would he?
(please don't say to make us look bad, as part of an agenda).
Oh give up. I'm not even interested in satisfying your need to be contrary.

If you've noticed i've not been posting on the agenda stuff for a bit, it's pointless. The question above is a valid one, why wouldn't it be? I heard the interview and have no reason to believe PBT was lying, simply because he has no reason to lie. It's like me saying to you i'm sat on top of the CIS tower typing this whilst wearing a nappy. Obviously a lie so why would I say it? PBT has reason to believe MP is happy in his lifestyle in Malaga and happy in his role as manager of the club, and if the finances get sorted out he believes he would rather stay there. What is so unbelievable about that?
And if you didn't want to spark off a debate, you shouldn't have come on with your 'hahahahahaha'. Surely you would have just left it?

No I am not sparking off a debate, just making sure you knew I was laughing at your laughable comment that journalists have no reason to lie.

If we believe what we are told, we are already in discussions with several players, whoever comes in i think the list of players wanted will remain the same
